Hear me out on this theory. The color of the backpacks was Green, White and Orangeish brown(this last backpack being the gold upgrade, and the other two are just plain backpacks)
These colors are found in two prominent flags. Ireland and India. I think this Easter egg is a teaser for people from one of these countries to be added. The reason I think its Ireland is because of the GOLD backpack(leprechauns love gold!) And the 8 people being in a freezer, (Ireland is super cold) but also that's just a mechanic the federation uses. The reason I think it's India is because of the teaser that QSMP global posted on July 11th. This is the "a new door is opening" teaser poster. With 7 people walking across the sand desert(and the 8th person in the sand, rip) this is hinting at 7 people from India perhaps? Also side note the guest country of France for bastille day was India this year. Coincidence? Also also the 13 item looking things in the green backpack probably mean something but idk 13 Is just a spooky number maybe?
