ShartimusPrime Biography:
Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

Likeness is much better on the Legends, no contest with Hasbro’s technology, but the effects on this one are amazing, wish the legends had a few more like this one.
Where the Agatha action figures at? Thats what we really want.

I have the Legends version right next to me at the moment, and it's face just looks so much better than the Select one is. Body looks pretty good, but Legends just looks better overall.
The Scarlet witch figure looks a lot more like Glenne Headly from the Dick Tracy movie.
The face on those heads look vacant. Elizabeth Olsen always seems more animated and expressive, even with a neutral expression on her face. Not trying to be mean, but those heads remind me more of her sisters.

I like the Marvel Legends Scarlet Witch better as the photo real tech looks more like Elizabeth Olsen but the pants on the Select look more show accurate and from what I have seen a lot of cosplayers wear. Would be cool to re paint the select effects and use them with the legends and make the Legends suit more show accurate. Awesome review as always Shartimus! Can't wait to see more of Scarlet Witch in the MCU. Also could always customize the Marvel Select Scarlet Witch to a zombie with that suit like how we saw Zombie Scarlet Witch from What If but in Scarlet Witch suit from WandaVision. Great review, as awlways! For me, I think the Marvel Select Scarlet Witch looked fine until you put it next to the Marvel Legends one. It's crazy the $30 collectible figure is inferior to the mass market cheaper alternative.
I'll stick with my Marvel Legends Scarlet Witch.
This head looks like something Hasbro would've made in 2014/2015.
Just bought her myself. My first Marvel Select fig. Not a terrible figure, the body and cloak are great. Head is a little off, paint aps on the eyes are meh. But otherwise I like her. She scales nicely with my NECA stuff.
I know that tha like / unlike of figz is subjective, this one is like a clearance only purchase…
Mine just arrived this week! Overall I was happy with the figure… the sculpt is there but the painting is too flat for the face. It’s kind of a shame cuz the scale is good enough to have an improvement. The painting on the suit is way more accurate in this one and it’s nice to have alternative head and cape! The only thing I notice is that diamond select is getting far behind from the other figure brands: simple painting on the face, stiff articulations and non friendly collector package. I’m glad I picked up both marvel legends and marvel select!
Duuude, you should test the DST cape on the ML figure with the figure flying! Would be ok?

It DOES look bad-referring to the headsculpt. Perhaps time for them to adopt the latest tech like Hasbro did.
I just wish the marvel legends one had the silver triangle bands on the thighs like the diamonds select figure , I guess I’ll be diy’ng those on myself
One thing that I don't understand is when people say the x-men are coming to the MCU. Then I asked myself isn't Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver X-men in the comics ? Lol

They did the eyes too small so she looks like Elle fanning. The hooded head is even weirder Bc one of the eyes is actually the right size but the other is still a fanning eye

All I’m reminded when I see Marvel selects like this one Is that Marvel Legends is running circles around diamond select with it’s decent articulation and hyperrealistic face scanning heads. So the only advantage of getting a diamond select version of her is the accessories to donate to ML. Besides that the marvel legends one is superior still minus some leg paint detail.
I really don't like the headsculpts on this figure tbh, and there seems to be a quality control issue. The paint on the outfit and the cape is more accurate to the show than the ML (I wish that figure had a cape). The accessories are really good (except the hands without gloves) and the articulation is what I expect from Diamond Select

I would totally buy a rerelease of the ML version if it came with the hood and cloak. Hopefully, though, Figuarts will release one with a cloth cloak.

I really never can think a Marvel Legends figure to be better than a Marvel Select one because of scale. Call me crazy, but I think the 7 inch scale much better to human boddies than the 6 inch one. It is a matter of taste, but I always see a 6 inch figure more close to a children's toy than a 7 inch one.
Can you talk about why hasbro has made their figures more expensive and your feelings on it?

This is not a bad figure. The articulation is not as horrible as it could be and it's nice to have some magic accessoriess. BUT overall I think Marvel Legends is better version so I'll give this figure a sudrating of, It's not so bad.

I think the overall look of this one is better than the marvel legends since it has all the details and right proportions but it also does have a lot of qc issues I've seen with a lot of Marvel Select figures that I don't like

Select's figures legs always look out of proportion either its too long or thiccer
I've seen repaints of her face which were really good and very close to the likeness of Elizabeth Olsen so I'm guessing it's the paint because the sculpt is really good- it just the expression, maybe a bit too sad or neutral ,but to be fair on the show -after returning to reality- she never was much other than angry and sad 😅
