That's Paige Bueckers. Against 20 year olds. In college.

Not sure if coach was shaking his head at Paige or the girl she was passing to with that behind-the-back pass. Pure all around talent. To me, her playing style similar to Anfernee Hardaway. Deceptive quickness with the ball, very fundamental, excellent court awareness and vision. She rebounds, plays defense and is a very good outside shooter. Future #1 WNBA pick right there.
As most have mentioned, Paige's basketball IQ is off the charts. There are several examples of this. (2:20 - 2:24) Simple inbound play but Paige notices that number 22 is not defending the inbound and more concerned with protecting the paint. So Paige knows if she gets the ball in and runs to the corner, she'll have a wide open 3! Highest percentage shot on the court besides an uncontested layup!
Shes big for a PG, strong and shifty with a great shot and can read passes, she is often compared to Curry but he has not her hustle nor her strenght, shes plays more like Luka in terms of BKB IQ and overall skillset
She's not a true PG. She's just been the most talented on the court so coaches give her the ball...what you are seeing as strong is more her length or slipperiness but make no mistake, she is thin. She plays with change of direction but she is not sudden, she strides to the rim. Her vision and IQ are off the charts though.
I would of assumed since they played in practice nonstop for about 4months that they will be able to catch her passes first try. I forgot they had them split so they only played with their pod for awhile
At around 1:45 it looked like nika threw the ball to far which caused paige to speed up and pass the rim which is why she did a behind the back pass to Aubrey. But I don't think aubrey was ready for it which made her tip the ball out of bounds
Bueckers is a terrific player, playing at a different speed from everyone else on the court. It will be fun to see CN play a team that actually has an interior defense (uh, Stanford). That's where her passing will really shine, during switches. Meanwhile, Olivia simply has her way on the boards. That won't happen against Stanford.
She is truly amazing to watch, but there was a bad no-call from the ref at 3:44. Just a little pitter-patter of the feet when the girl fell down. I don't think Paige was expecting that girl to trip haha. It's definitely fun to watch her play though. She's got some REAL SKILL!
Seton Hall is small...and slow...just like UMass Lowell before them...UConn has more 5star recruits on THIS team the either of those teams have EVER had...combined...and most of the teams she faced in high school were the same...
I agree with u a 100% No other U Conn freshman has ever been at Paiges level. And she hasn't even shown all she can do. I've seen her make passes only a Magic or players like that can make.
Seems like she had more than 5 assists. And for sure could have had more if her teammates finished the layups or caught the pass. As far as "the real deal", anyone that saw her in high school already knew she is for real.

Pure all around talent. To me, her playing style similar to Anfernee Hardaway. Deceptive quickness with the ball, very fundamental, excellent court awareness and vision. She rebounds, plays defense and is a very good outside shooter. Future #1 WNBA pick right there.
This girl has got straight game. I haven’t seen a female basketball player like her in my life
She’s special. She really is
She’s fun to watch..her teammates aren’t even ready for these passes 🔥🔥
Only women college b-ball I’m gonna watch 🤣
I remember seeing her highlights from like high school awhile back. She was pretty damn good then too.
She’s on another level. Her and HVL are the future of women’s basketball. Props to both.
her passing makes her elite
That 3/4 court chest pass.
it always seems to me she could score anytime , just passes to make it a team game ^^
Just a great bball player, great jump shot!!!!
Can you post the game please?
I’d love to see UConn play Stanford and Oregon. Stacked teams with an awesome Freshman class!
Can they do one and done because she’ll average like 40 by her senior year the rate she’s playing at💯different
She got an amazing jab step
At around 1:45 it looked like nika threw the ball to far which caused paige to speed up and pass the rim which is why she did a behind the back pass to Aubrey. But I don't think aubrey was ready for it which made her tip the ball out of bounds
I want to see her against the top teams because those are the only teams that’ll give an issue. I know she can ball.
2 fast 2 smooth 2 ez at this level.
She one of the best college players I seen since Mia
Is Seton Hall small or is Uconn big?
Seton Hall is small...and slow...just like UMass Lowell before them...UConn has more 5star recruits on THIS team the either of those teams have EVER had...combined...and most of the teams she faced in high school were the same...
She is way above the league
She'll be the best player in the history of UConn, I am gonna make that bet. Better than Rizzotti, Lobo, Bird, Taurasi, Stewart, etc.
I agree with u a 100% No other U Conn freshman has ever been at Paiges level. And she hasn't even shown all she can do. I've seen her make passes only a Magic or players like that can make.
Until next year when Azzi Fudd gets there!
@@julianisaac6004 They play a different style. But Azzi is the one too push Paige to the next level no doubt.
Seems like she had more than 5 assists. And for sure could have had more if her teammates finished the layups or caught the pass. As far as "the real deal", anyone that saw her in high school already knew she is for real.
Bruh they gotta take that 1 and done deal out. She obviously ready for the league
What league 😂....her degree will help her more than the WNBA
Nope...waaaay too thin right now. She is not sudden, more fluid and a long strider. Those grown ass women will expose her lack of strength and upper echelon athleticism.
her passing game is crazzzyyyyy.
Paige could leave early if she just wanted to focus on basketball as a profession.
She can't until she's 22. WNBA rule
@@UConnNation12 An she 19.
She is better than a lot of men’s college players.
What do people need to say dumb shit like this. A male college player would drop 100 in this game
She’s an average D3 player at best as of now, still really good and she’s gonna dominate the WNBA someday
@@joaquingrande371 average d3...you guys are delusional lol...d3 kids are miles better than this
One of the rare good girls.
bro this girl is elite
