Well said. I went through a very similar process of understanding myself and what was best for me. I'm so grateful for the resources that are available these days. If one is doubtful, there is knowledge out there to facilitate a better understanding of yourself, you just have to look a little deeper than what the media presents to you, because currently, it is highly misinformed.
For sure. Unfortunately the media is usually the first impression everyone has of being trans, including trans people themselves. However I have to admit that even online trans communities can be misleading sometimes, but as you said all you have to do is dig a little deeper and research many different perspectives and things become clearer.
