These Walmart videos always leave out the automobile accessories/tires/fluids section, tool section, camping/fishing equipment section, and the garden section (plants, fertilizers, lawn mowers, etc.). The issue with Walmart’s Gluten Free isle is that it only has the stuff that’s specifically made/marketed to be gluten free.
There is about 6 times more gluten free stuff but it’s scattered around the store, like they figured out in the cereal aisle.
I am pro gluten btw, just helped someone who is gluten free shop before.

It's not Wal-Mart shoppers who are frequently vegans. It's RUclips content creators. I don't know why, but yeah, a disturbingly large percentage of RUclips content creators are vegans, and I think vice versa as well.
Yes, Wal-Mart is in every state; but the one you really want to go to, is Meijer, and that's only in the Midwest.
The Cheerios are labeled "gluten-free" because Americans are dumb, and have to be told that an oat product doesn't have gluten in it. Brits are presumably supposed to be smart enough to read the ingredients list and go "Yeah, this has no wheat flour in it, so it won't have gluten."

That's not why. Americans put all kinds of things in the fridge that are shelf-stable. Ketchup, mustard, jams and jellies, apples, oranges, tomatoes, cured ham, bacon, you name it, if it's food, it goes in the fridge by default. Peanut butter is an exception because it has a fairly high peanut-oil content, and peanut oil has a state transition between room temperature and fridge temperature; consequently, putting the peanut butter in the fridge, alters its consistency. Similarly, we don't put bananas in the fridge because they would turn black, salt or spices because the humidity would cause them to clump, breads and cereals because they would get soggy, and so on. Off the top of my head, the only foods I can think of that we *could* keep in the fridge and usually don't, are soy sauce, worcestershire sauce, hot pepper sauce, cooking oil, and canned goods.

Walmarts are not created equal. The kind of walmart you are seeing here is a Super-center. A traditional walmart will be smaller, and a neighborhood walmart or walmart express will be even smaller. Those are boutique size stores that can be welcome into cities. As many metro areas actually passed laws preventing warehouse style stores with massive parking lots from being built inside of them. For this epic experience the brits are having you need to go to a supercenter. They are usually right off highways are interstates as part of the suburban sprawl of America, and they will be near or just outside major metro areas. But in clusters of smaller communities in the rural expanse you're more likely to come across a discount store which is like the traditional Walmart's that competed with K-marts back in the day.
The Sam's club is also a Walmart, but it's like a Costco, it focuses on bulk quantity purchases, (case and pallet purchases, instead of individual package purchases, and requires membership. Those usually focus on business to business sales.) So vendors, and concession stand sellers, and restauranters are incentivized to go there to stock up without clearing out the shelves at regular Walmart's for regular customers.

She was freaking out about Malt O' Meal cereal about the 4 minute mark. Malt O'Meal makes generic versions of name brand cereals and some of their own concoctions and sell them in big plastic bags to make them less expensive than name brands in cardboard boxes. Some of the name brands sell their cereals in bulk sized bags, too. The price per oz is less than in the cardboard boxes. The bags usually have a zipper seal so they won't go stale. Some people like to pour the cereal into plastic storage boxes so they can pour them out like a box. Most of Malt O'Meals cereals are spot on exact like the name brands, some aren't, but some are better.

Andre, there are three different types of Walmart stores; the first (and original) is Walmart, it has a little bit of everything. Then there is Walmart Neighborhood Market, which is all grocery items. The third and best is the Walmart Super Center which has a lot of everything. So fun to watch people get excited about what we take for granted every day.

Most people don't understand that most foods are gluten free. Gluten is from wheat products so if there is no wheat in the ingredients it's gluten free....

    • @melodygrim471
      @melodygrim471 2 дня назад

Another thing people don't understand is that for most people, gluten is a necessary part of your diet. Only those with true allergies or Crohn's should avoid Gluten. I've seen people deprive their families, their children, of NECESSARY NUTRIENTS because it is the latest "discovery" of something that SOME PEOPLE need to avoid. I've seen people CLAIM allergies that no doctor has ever diagnosed, allergies and health problems that they don't have. I actually have allergies to milk, wheat, and eggs, so I am well aware of what symptoms those allergies cause me if I encounter these things - yet I've seen people act like they or their children will die if they partake of these things. No, they won't die, but you ARE DEPRIVING THEM OF NECESSARY NUTRITION if a DOCTOR hasn't told you to avoid these things for your child. I have grandchildren who ended up in the hospital at one week, having their feedings changed to goat milk because of the allergies to cows milk. My grandmother on my father's side passed these allergies down, but, of my dad's 6 kids, I am the only one who inherited the allergies. So, don't deprive your families of necessary building blocks and a healthy diet just because of the latest internet-fueled diet craze!

It's a buzzword thing. If your label designer can find a place to slap "gluten-free, organic, no trans fats" on that pack of pork sausage, there's a chance one person in a thousand will buy it because of that, and if so that adds up to millions of dollars for the company. And yes, this actually works, as evidenced by this very video, wherein a person decided to buy a box of oat cereal specifically because it said "gluten free" on the box. Marketing.

2:00 first a warning about Walmart. If you come to America, as a rule of thumb, only go to Walmart during the daytime. Many will become dangerous after dark.
6:00 don't worry about using METERS with us. In America, we use both quite a bit. We have 2L cokes. We know 2 of those is almost a gallon. We know a meter is just 3 inches more than a YARD. We have 5K races and 10K races or 3.1 miles and 6.2 miles. We actually know quite a bit. Things we might not know is grams to pounds.
10:30 $19 pants. You could literally pay for your trip to America with how much you would be saving on purchases.
13:00 Yes they are currently in most places but these will likely start disappearing in the next 4 years or so. Everything is switching to online shopping. That is the trend.
18:45 No, we never put peanut butter in the fridge. It has lots of sugar and salts for preservation.
23:00 This lady sure does speak fast and a lot but surprisingly not so annoying as I would expect for this kind of talking.

    1. The bags of cereal are for "poor people." When I was a kid. ( not saying if I pertooked or not)
    2. Oh, the sausage burgers are bad.
    3. BlueBell is the greatest Ice Cream in Texas, take your flavor. (Mint chocolate is greatest in my opinion). pick your flavor I haven't found a bad one yet.
Ben and Jerry's (rely on adding stuff and not the ice cream).
There are state/regional level producers and markets.
BlueBell are the things I recall for midwest/Texas.
    4. Gluten free is a horrible thing in America. Go keto if you have to go Gluten free.
    Those are my four things...
The good stuff is from farmer markets, and pick you own farmers.
Farmer markets and pick your own are the best things in the world.

If it is regular peanut butter not one that needs to be stirred then you don't need to refrigerate.
The ones you stir Wong separate back out if you put them in a refrigerator.
If you don't eat the peanut butter within about 6 weeks it would also be better to refrigerate to keep it tasting fresh a bit longer.
Generally, all US food that needs refrigeration will say on the label to refrigerate after opening.

American Banana Pudding. Some people make it homemade but most people just use box pudding with vanilla wafers stuffed in. I use the banana box pudding with the "blond", "white","vanilla Oreos. You make the pudding first, put in the refrigerator to thicken. Then you stuff in the Oreos. You have to wait for the pudding to thicken before you put the cookies in or they will fall apart like when you leave them in your milk too long. After you stuff the cookies in...cover the pudding over night and the next day the cookies will be soft in the pudding. You can do this with any pudding and any cookies. All you do is test your cookies in milk first to see how long it takes for them to fall apart so you know when to put the cookies into your pudding fore or after the pudding thickens. Hope this helps. Also if you stick your peanut butter in refrigerator it will be too thick to spread on your bread. Peanut butter is tasty cold but unspreadable. My new favorite snack is a banana covered with white icing for cakes. I hope you try the banana pudding recipe. You can use homemade or box pudding. Please try the white Oreos in the banana pudding. No one in America is doing this recipe, only me. I've been trying to spread my banana pudding recipe. Americans have been using the vanilla wafer cookies in their banana pudding for generations and generations of people. The white Oreos are so much sweeter. Stay outta New York Bro, all the illegal migrants have taken over New York City. Half the city has shut down because of the migrants stealing. This is serious and for real. Check out Cash Jordan. He's based in New York and puts out videos on the declining situation in New York. STAY OUT OF NEW YORK!!! Before you come to America you need to understand that guns and knives are Leagle. I live in Texas. We use to have a knife law where you couldn't carry a knife that has a blade over 5 inches. Now it's legal to carry swords in Texas. Everyone sees America as the land of the free where all your dreams come true. In reality America is the land of criminals and gangsters. Everyones got guns. Don't get caught slipping. Stay outta California too, the migrants have taken over. Check out the migrants crisis all over America. More and more bad people keep showing up. Any minute now America can erupt. No one knows the real number of migrants that have entered America. Millions.....and over half are gangsters. When the migrants realizes they can't get a job they join the other gangsters in crime. America is divided and falling apart from my perspective. I see civil war coming again in America and eventually America will be divided again. Try the banana pudding with white Oreos.

Walmart is like how many stores in one. Unfortunately Walmart put many businesses in this town out of business. Closed 2 grocery stores. The movie place the computer shop. Many car shops. Smart for Walmart to do this! Bad bad for most other businesses when it came to my town. I wanna say about 20 years ago. Some held on for a few years but most closed! We have so many thrift shops now. Which is fun! Dunno if you know what a thrift shop is? Like a garage sale everyday! But you may not know what a garage sale is! Not done binging you yet.
