Nope Munou fits the opening due to its unpredictability feeling behind the music while The Ending is also so perfect ,i don't see the necessity for the comparison between ending and op I even think Tokyo ghoul choices for every op,ed and even slightest of bgm s were spot on ,it never could have been more better
After finishing every episode, I couldn't help to start a waterfall of tears when I always listened to it, and after I knew the lyrics' meaning my waterfall was amplified even further😭❤. This Ending really fits the contents of the 2nd season especially to Kaneki, and to my personal opinion the best anime ending I've ever heard❤.

A lot has happened and those days will never come back.

This could've been a good opening but it really does fit better as an ending. Unfortunately, no opening for this show could ever live up to unravel by tk. tough one to beat. psycho pass had to use them again so that the opening for season 2 could be as good as 1.

Root A ED 4 was really interesting to me. Ishida depicts the Yagumo brothers as the flowers of humanity/innocence, with Kaneki being the 'ghoul'. Really cool to see the perspective shift, because that's probably exactly how Naki saw things: Jason as the lovable and caring older brother, with Kaneki as the ghoul who took all of that
