I found this episode so brilliant that it really stuck to me for years after to the point I'll always feel uncomfortable about how they screwed it with Orson. After all they went through with Bree and until that epic ending ; this led me to think Orson was the one. Well of course he had to pay for what he did to Mike, but even then the way they made it end with Bree totally is an insult to all this season 3 action.
I loved Bree and Orson I was gutted when they split up. I hated how they wrote Bree making him turn himself in for running Mike over when she covered for Andrew in series one those were the two storylines I didn't like
Yeah I've seen it countless times, it certainly is one of my favourites. It's very sad that all Alma wants is to have a family and Gloria is evil as sin. It was very well written, especially the ending which is why i'm watching this vid.
I agree totally!I think she's a bit of an undervalued character, not many people appreciated Valerie's talent in the role. Or at least none of the people i speak to. But I love her!
I've thought about the medical state Orson's mom is left to suffer for the rest of her life throughout the years, especially when physician-assisted suicide is brought up. What kind of quality of life is left for people who really do suffer from complete paralysis despite being fully cognitive and aware?
To be fair Orson had good reason to be ruthless with Gloria. She killed his father, made it look like suicide then blamed Orson for years so she could control him. Then when she couldn't control him anymore or accept he and Alma were over she killed Monique and emotionally blackmailed him into helping cover it up. Then she tried to kill Bree I can see why Orson was so ruthless that's enough to send anyone flying over the edge. Gloria got poetic justice a stroke that stopped her hurting anyone else and even worse because of all she did she's gonna be left at the mercy of strangers for the rest of her life trapped in a jail of her own making
There are certain family members who fully And unequivocally deserve that level of ruthlessness… I can think of a few family members that I have that I would gladly abandon them at the hospital paralyzed and functionless from a stroke and I would let them die and I would go about my day and the rest of my life feeling perfectly fine and utterly guilt free
I know Orson was a good husband to Bree and a good father to Bree’s children. His pitfall in the final season is unrealistic for sure. But putting that aside, here already we can see Orson’s psychopathy is implied; he has wit and he is very decisive, features that murderers have.
I know Gloria was evil, but I still feel bad for her. Beeing paralyzed and completely aware? One of the most horrible fates I can thinking of. I really hope that is just fiction, because this would be very gruesome if people really got something like this. Sorry for my bad english.
I think it's because you die so suddenly your eye lids don't have time to close. or maybe it's because she was looking up at the sky when she died as opposed to the ground. I hope that helps, although i'm not sure. I love Alma!! :)
Orson Hodge's mystery was really good; all the characters involved were amazing. This is one of my favorite seasons.
It wasn't even supposed to go that way. The director changed the storyline because he liked working with Kyle Mclachlan.
Mine too including s2 and s6 fir me

The writers completly ruined him.

@@alanaslan3887 OMG thanks u 😍😍😍😍😍
@ You're welcome (de rien) :)
Orson inherits his mothers evil streak in the end though
Yeah and this is a shame, because Orson is a great character, I love him
Was poor writing tbh, they just had no idea what to go for for Bree to have more character development so they just ruined his character
What he inherited was terrible writing. That show really did him dirty at the end.

Best season and I loved the ending 😊
I feel like this episode was the season finale!
They even filmed some of the final scenes with bree at her house in real life!

I’m pretty sure that paralysis is not permanent Gloria could’ve been up in running in 6 months
@@idk_who2320 Thats not how that works
I feel so bad for orson....his mother destroy his whole life!!!
I absolutely loved this man,he just seemed like a great character ,much better than other men on this show
As much as Gloria deserved that stroke and Orson abandoning her, that was ruthless! Be lying if I said it wasn't satisfying though. 😈

Nothing for Gloria ever again
So scientifically illogical. If her brain is "functioning normally" she should be able to speak.
And in a bag, moniques teeeeth
What happened to Orson’s face ?

He fell from the roof of the Fairview Memorial's Hospital, as Alma, but he, he survived.
Stéphane Kuor Thanks.
How’s Annie?
