Wow what a dirty little machine. Great job of cleaning and repairing this mower. Not sure I have seen a mower clutch like that before so was good information for me. Thanks for the tips and video.
Great work, I have never seen a Honda with blade clutch taken apart and opened up. Honda looks like they used metal gears like Tecumseh did. Briggs is using plastic ones now .
Nice job & filming. Found a manual for that mower dated 1983! So, it could be almost 40 years old. I think that model was made in later 80's years as well.
Question. There's a hose under the air filter assembly that connects into the top of the engine someplace. I see it on this motor, but you never pulled the air cleaner. What does that hose connect to?
Lessons learned: degrease before attempting to disassemble, did not know that Black Widow spiders like push mowers, and frack the puller - just use trusted dead blow hammer.
Cant remember off hand but you can find it here: www.ereplacementparts.com/honda-hr214-type-sxa2vin-hr2146235981-lawn-mower-parts-c-37657_188003_188013.html

Yes.
Looks like that guy didn’t take care of it to begin with. Treat your equipment casually and it will end up a casualty.
Sorry my mistake good vid
