    It’s good for on the cheap and beginner! If you are serious then expect to spend $400 - 1500 on this hobby!

      It's the self destruct mode button ,lol. No just kidding it's a target button supposed to tell you were to actually dig

    Nice review of the Harbor Freight detector. One thing to remember is that, with any metal detector, when you discriminate out foil you won't pick up many gold rings or other gold items. Some areas are just impossible to work without eliminating the foil.

    You mentioned that some of the targets are over 10in in the ground... how do you know that? What indicates that? And did that pinpointer actually come with the metal detector?

      They did not come together. It has been awhile since I did this video and honestly don't remember, I haven't used it since this video because I have a Garrett Ace 400.

    Not bad I may half to get one I really want to try. Plus I need to loose the weight so yes I'll get on next year hopefully by spring. But good vidoe helped me thanks god bless

      I've got one I will take to the beach. I have a feeling this one will be really chattery. The other one will do well though!
