I'm 16 years old and I'm only in 11th grade, but I'm watching this.. Why? I'm not depressed, at least I don't think I am... I have no goals or aspirations.. I go through school because I have to, not because I want to, I really don't think I want to do a 9-5 and waste my life.. I just don't know where to go now.
I hear you. I'm much older than you . Take my advice, don't do as I did. Really think about what you love. It could be something simple like you enjoy helping people. Well, then maybe a medical career. There is soooo much out there. You can be almost anything at your stage of life. Yes, money can be an issue but keep trying!

I dont know where you live, which ever country which ever place, but i will tell you this..school doesn't teach you find your self school does not teach you to be human. The government wants you to go to school, get a job, have a family then die. They dont care about teaching people to be human, teaching people to find themselves...This is a quest taken by everyone, teenage hood is the quest for it, the one thing i can truly say is that i have no idea what the hell i am going to do, with my life..but i know myself, i know what i like, who i like. but even that is not enough, i wish i could tell you accurate advice, but i am on the same road as you, and the future of our road on this planet, is foggy.
Haha, we're quite the same, brother. I know alll about that brainwashing system, maybe too much. I feel like i was not born to work for 40 years of my life and then die with a nice car.. I want to do something meaningful with my life, but i just don't know what, and i don't know how. I suppose that is part of teeange-hood though, and that i have to find my own path.
We should team up and do something, i dont know what but something. something to say.. f*** the system, f*** having to waste your life away in school learning nothing preparing you for Fcking Mcdonalds...i say no..i say let the cards fall where they may, i say let us take control of our own fate, and do something meaningful with our lifes..no matter how small or stupid thing you do, anything meaningful in your life, to change it man!

I'm currently bored as hell and find no pleasure in anything. I keep trying to set goals, but honestly there are no goals that interest me. I'm just bored.
I might be depression, I guess. I'm really not sure. Things I used to love doing just aren't that fun anymore. Food doesn't taste as good. Everything just seems empty and pointless. It's a struggle just to wake up in the morning. I have goals but I'm becoming so bored and frustrated with how empty the road to achieving them has become that I'm forgetting why I'm doing what I'm doing. The only thing I've found that helps is sitting by a highway watchin cars go by wondering what those people are doing and are they real or part of my matrix

What you are feeling is lack of motivation. You have reached a point in life where you question yourself EVERYTHING. You must think, What, Why, Where & How of your life. What you see outside of every person, is completely different of what's really happening in the inside of a person.

Only Jesus Christ can fill the emptiness you are feeling. You feel you have no purpose, lost, and still searching. I felt the same until I gave my life to Jesus Christ and found that it was Him my soul was crying out for. Everyone who feels this way is because we all have a deep place in us that no human or material thing can reach to finally be satisfied and at peace and only Jesus can reach that place. This reminds me of the time my mom and dad left me at the shelter of wolves. And I had to fight my way all the way up to the top of my local forensic discovery. This start up I created is a way of people to fi d how their brother/mother/dad/friend has died. As a kid we don’t search for meaning, we just appreciate life. Fuck “meaning” of life. No meaning could really convince us or satisfy us. It will usually come to be something like “oh, I get it, the meaning of my life is loving others” or “the meaning of my life is to teach little kids”. But then after a while you get tired of that. But no matter how beautiful, there will always be a part of us that will say: “Come on dude, that's cool but it's all bullshit, you are just trying to convince yourself”. So my approach is to try not thinking about a meaning, but just try to distract myself with the things I love and appreciate the present moment the best I can, and that includes love and everything else. But “meaning” is a word similar to “eternity”, it's way too big for human beings, we can never grasp such idea of a big “meaning”, it will only bring either delusion or frustration.

Ive known the meaning of life since a child and have been guided and protected by spirits ive prayed to since a boy. Im blessed beyond belief and wish others knew their purpose in life. People define their lives by what job they have or are working towards. I think that is the wrong way to live and is wrong that our society perpetuates that kind of thinking. Everybody can be a musician, artist, healer, teacher, builder, astronomer etc. in different ways. You are not your job.

I am 57 but I didn't know what my life purpose (or assignment) was until I was 25. I had no vision for my future, and no idea if I had any gifts. I was aimless, given to despair and depression. Attempted suicide once. My Mom offered no direction. My Dad convinced me I was useless. At my weakest moment, I gave God a chance. I became a Christian. Now I am a corporate trainer, church pastor and author of several books. I've been married for almost 30 years and have two great children. I want to take credit for my blessings but I can't. I called out to Christ, and found I was loved, created, appreciated and gifted to serve Him. I believe we all are. Don't take your greatness to the grave. Let God unlock you! This video changed my life! It made me realize that I don't want to leave this life without doing the best I can to develop and teach my children as much as possible. I was on the job, writing some e-mails for the company. I just wanted to listen to motivational music. But I accidentally came across this video. And it was exactly what I needed! Because at the time my life was a mess. Just had a very hard breakup, had a lot of debts and felt alone. Because of this video, I began searching for more life lessons it was incredible! I began to see the motivational speakers and philosophers as my teachers. It changed my whole perspective and philosophy. that is a good question. i'll answer it on the assumption you too are searching for answers or others reading are searching and it might help you or them.
i loved the job because even though it had become something that instilled legalism into me, originally it was a place for me to connect with people that really cared about me and connect with people that i cared about.
i'll also say that it wasn't until this past week that i've started to find closure with some of those people. I haven't found all the answers i've been looking for and there are still alot of things i need to do but i've made progress since my first comment.
part of that i have to attribute to being honest with myself and admitting that i needed help. a few months ago i decided to seek out professional counseling and even though all of my problems aren't gone it has significantly helped me mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
When i posted my first comment i was at a place in my life where i saw no hope, and it was next to impossible to think things could get better. but they have. and it's because i didn't give up. so to those out there that are considering giving up, you shouldn't. because life is worth living and you are worth it too. i don't care what you tell yourself or what others tell you, you are worth it. don't give up.
I'm free today, because I've fallen out of power, of control, of a demanding culture which leads nowhere but to an early grave. I've stopped living only for my work or for others.
I found out what is important to me, what I want. Life itself has no purpose this I know for sure. People can have meaning in their lives, by simply not becoming slaves to their work, and paying more attention on the quality of their lives. This won't make you rich in assets, however it will make you appreciate living.

My life circumstance are very problematic right now, but within myself, I have an ocean of serenity, confidence, love and purpose. If you are looking for your purpose and self identity, it is there for you! don't give up or lose hope!!

Catherine's right. However, I still think that as the humans came to be, there was something different about us. Why is it that we feel emotion and have the ability to help others? Why are we more cognitively advanced than any other creature that has ever walked the earth (which may be true or not but that's human arrogance and intelligence for ya again). Just saying, life doesn't have a purpose- you're supposed to breathe, live in a community for some time, eat, and then die. 2, Only try to be honest with yourself. If you try to be honest with others, you will get into big trouble soon or later.
3, Aim only one target at a time; otherwise you are chasing two rabbits and you will miss both. So, the reason behind it. Have one powerful reason and never ever give up the one you want the most.
4, Don't try to be good person only but be the powerful person. We will grow to be the one or we will die. There is no other choice.
5, Always learn and look for to improve something your life.
6, You are not alone. Love and faith the high power reduces unnecessary stress in life. But never completely rely on it.
7, Success and happiness are the byproducts of our usefulness. So, always increase the possibility of success.

🌎 As long as people continue to see themselves as separate from everything else, they lend themselves to being completely enslaved. Success depends on how well we relate to everything around us. Joy comes from that bliss of connectedness. I believe that unarmed truth and love will have the final word in reality. To love; you should have good heart. I am a good person until I see a person better than my standard of goodness. Being good is the progress towards a worthy cause. Love is God. Whoever lives in love, lives forever. How selfish it is to try to keep something forever? Love is all about nourishing, nurturing, sharing and expanding the love within you for all. The principle to which we adhere to is that we have kindness of love at heart for the whole of mankind. As long as there is the unnecessary differences within us; we can not live peacefully so we have to eliminate all the unnecessary differences among us so we can love all. People abilities may vary but not there true love. If we love a person/ God for a reason then we love the reason but not the person. No reason is the reason to love the person because true love never fails. So do not compare or measure the true love as first or the last but love all truly. If you love people truly then you can understand people. If you don't love then you don't understand people at all.

The Cyclical Consumption is the current economy all over the World. It is making the scarcity problems of the earth finite resources to deteriorate day by day. Current Monetary System is legalised theft. Real money is Gold and Silver. Scarcity gives the money more value. Real money won't lose it's value. When Governments stay away from Gold & Silver then very easy to transfer the wealth / resources to upper class the Rich (Corporatocracy) Elite. When the Governments are printing out more new fiat currency with reserve banks, our old currency is losing its purchasing power everyday. They are printing millions of currency everyday. All governments and laws are existing right now to transfer wealth to upper class the rich elite. The USA Government & other Governments are in many countries, bailed the investment banks & financial institutions in 2008 against the majority of the people. There is no democracy in any countries. Because of the Money System based on profits motive only above all else even humans lives and well-being. So, we do not have freedom to protect our values with the money so on. The violence, bankruptcy & all the negativities are build into the Monetary System of our society. All are owned (including ourselves) by Reserve Bank. Which is private cartel the corporation. So, in legal system, we are legally considered as chattel the properties. They make money in the capital markets with our birth certificates. They do not consider us as Humans. That's the truth. We are at the invisible war with the Elites (Corporatocracies). We have to fight for our Freedom. Resource Based Economy is the Solution. We have to declare the earth resources as the heritage of all the people of this world. So everyone has access to it. Please have your research about zeitgeist movement then you know the truth more.
Truth About Health/Drugs Industry Because Of It Your Life At High Risk The drug industry is a 1/2 trillion dollars a year worldwide conglomerate. Almost 300 billions dollars just in North America. That is really big business. What would happen if everyone were well? There is no money in health. You see, good health makes a lot of sense but it doesn't make a lot of dollars. Because everything they do is toxic. Every drug they use, prescription drugs, all drugs are liver toxic, bar none. If you've had amalgam fillings put in your mouth by dentists. It is highly toxic. There's cancer because most of the chemos are themselves carcinogens. To view the tumor as the cancer and we know the tumor is not the cancer. The cancer industry is 200 billions dollars a year. The more work they get, the more profit there is. You have to dismantle; If the truth ever came out about what we would need to do. 30% of people of females in America are at risk of getting, will get cancer of the breast. The ones that are already dead have been grossly mistreated by the medical profession and by the government that supposedly is supposed to encourage free research and development of all possibilities. Why would medical doctors who studied medicine and practice medicine and are heavily funded by pharmaceutical companies why would they go and look into vitamins? That they never had the answer orthomolecular. And as more and more of our population start taking their health into their own hands, there's going to be even more and more of changes. It can't go on the way it is. The system is failing apart. We must make nutrition the primary prevention strategy for the population. You are what you eat. 😊 Well, I truly love God. I am not religious but very spiritual person. So, I believe 1) Religion is the beliefs in someone experiences But spirituality is having my own experiences. The mainstream religions people promote religious ideology by giving guidelines and guide but In my spiritual life; I do not want anyone or anything between God and me to restrict my freedom to worship God. 2) We do not need any authorities to do good work. The god work is the good work always. In contrast; organised mainstream religions are claiming that they have the authorities to do God works as leaders so on. 3) God is not capable of doing wrong thing, change the past for us and create anything out of nothing for us. Nothing means not anything. So, even God is limited. The mainstream religious people believe that God is unlimited. 4) God wants us to take responsibilities for our righteousness life but not for all the consequences of our actions because they are continued to exist among us. So, How can god punish us for all our consequences? The mainstream religious people believe we are full of sins because of all our actions. 5) Freewill is an illusion. People always choose the perceived path of greatest pleasure. So, we do not have choices all the time. In contrast teachings of the mainstream religions are promoting people to do god's will always because we all have choices of freewill always. 6) We can not separate everything into groups. So, everything for good and evil and there's no success and failure for everything. If everything is real then real things can not be threatened. Once you come to understand that God/The Holy Spirit is in each of us, You will no longer need a Book to tell you how to live. Then why we need religious scriptures? The Virtue is the expression of the basic goodness in our actions. The Basic goodness is the fundamental worthiness of every individuals. We are worthy to God always in everything. 7) Beliefs in a cruel God makes a cruel man. No matter what; every living creatures has the right to live and What makes their life cheap? Everything depends on everything. Nothing too big or too small in value. We can not love and hate at the same time; Being a vegetarian means love without cruelty happily. The mainstream religious people are killing people and sacrificing animals in the name of God. They promote God's cruel punishments. The Punishment is endless for Sinners/Devil according to religious scriptures. But God is love always. Overcome hate with love. If all religions for peace, unity? No way. Because they are not for peace. 8) Well, The God gave us everything to go from moment to moment in our lives as we do our part and pray only to thank god then the Love is in progress. The Love is always for everyone. We are always worthy of the God's love. Our greatest fear is; not to be loved by anyone but we are all loved by someone. When we eliminate all our unnecessary differences among us then true peaceful life is possible with the true love. If we can't find the peace within ourselves then we will never find it anywhere else. 9) This is the Fight for independence and freedom of humanity to worship God freely without religious guide and guidelines to restrict us. 3. learning a lesson from mistakes
Most people are just trying to survive. "Meaning" often has little importance. And I think the majority of people don't find their "purpose". If you believe you have, you are lucky. That really is a gift. However, as Billy Joel sang," I found out just surviving was a noble fight." It's a very realistic philosophy.

Searching for the meaning of life is pointless. Do whatever you want, whatever you like and just do it. Live life, smell it, taste it, see it, hear it, feel it, you can't miss anything, life is right in front of you, life is in you, you are life. Right now at this instance, wherever you are reading this text right now, you are living it. Stop thinking so much, or start thinking more. Stop searching or start searching more. However, a wise person once said to me: "Don't let anyone else tell you what to do, not even me".

There is always a way back, you just have to fight.
Life is so finite we forget about it, and sometimes our depression pushes us to pursuit that very ending, and.. pfff.. if only none of us succeded there but in finding that in the solitude our darkness brings we can find that little peace we desperately need so we can learn to listen back into our most inner self and begin to realize we can get back, and that the struggle we can put ourselves to get back in our feet is a breakthrough, not a punishment. We'll come to an end, but hopefully we wont have wasted what lies inside us that's valuable, as little as we might think of ourselves, we can still do lots with it for oneself and for those who appreciate us. Is a struggle I've been going through for longer than I thought and been close to losing this fight quite a few times now, and some of those I've come to listen to this very message, it's helped me get at least one knee back on the ground to work my way up. Even if it's to prove wrong those who've given me for defeated, and sometimes it's been myself who's come to say I've been defeatead, fuels back my stubborness to not give up and make up with what it's in me for good. Keep fighting, fight even if it's to get a few more steps ahead of that ending.

James broadhead just take it one day at a time. if needed, just one hour,one minute ,or second. dont expect too much so youre not overwhelmed. give yourself a break. dont beat yourselv up if you fail,just make yourself get back up and try again. dont worry about what others think, only what you think. dont base your happiness on the whims and desires of others. it will only make you miserable. you have to learn to love yourself first. Pray about even the smallest things. God hears your prsyers,He knows your meeds and desires of your heart. be patient on his response,His timing is always perfect. 😊 Well, I truly love God. I am not religious but very spiritual person. So, I believe 1) Religion is the beliefs in someone experiences But spirituality is having my own experiences. So, How can god punish us for all our consequences? The mainstream religious people believe we are full of sins because of all our actions. 5) Freewill is an illusion. People always choose the perceived path of greatest pleasure. So, we do not have choices all the time. In contrast teachings of the mainstream religions are promoting people to do god's will always because we all have choices of freewill always. 6) We can not separate everything into groups. So, everything for good and evil and there's no success and failure for everything. If everything is real then real things can not be threatened. Once you come to understand that God/The Holy Spirit is in each of us, You will no longer need a Book to tell you how to live. Then why we need religious scriptures? The Virtue is the expression of the basic goodness in our actions. The Basic goodness is the fundamental worthiness of every individuals. We are worthy to God always in everything. 7) Beliefs in a cruel God makes a cruel man. No matter what; every living creatures has the right to live and What makes their life cheap? Everything depends on everything. Nothing too big or too small in value. We can not love and hate at the same time; Being a vegetarian means love without cruelty happily. The mainstream religious people are killing people and sacrificing animals in the name of God. They promote God's cruel punishments. The Punishment is endless for Sinners/Devil according to religious scriptures. But God is love always. Overcome hate with love. If all religions for peace, unity? No way. firstly, i enjoyed reding first parts of your writing, and i am writing a book. i want to copy some of the self rules if they are not taken from other sites. it is nice and well written and prives enlightment.
second, your ideology is fine but you are losing the bigger picture. since you are thinking pure and for the better of the world, you should first come to understanding that it is not the system that is corrupted but the people. so for an ideal world you dont want the rich to get richer but to share that. this can be good but not not every rich person is evil not not all the poor people are good. the corruption is in people's hearth. and the desire for more power and money doesnt have to mean bad for others. individualism and wanting things for yourself or keeping things for yourself doesnt have to be bad either. as long as it doesnt hurt others.
as you are talking about scientists and sustainability and companies and medical researches, let me say something about that as well. i have a bachelor degree on renewable energy. things are tough to do. we are a growing and changing population as earth. it is okay to have different cultures and different mind of thinkng. without bad we woudnt know how to do good. even thou world is sufferering experience it the best way to do on the next step. for cancer, i dont know how much you know but because of the natural habitat of the virus, cancere is really hard to treat. nowadays there are increadibly fast growing treatments that are mainly successful but for something to be used and approved, it hve to go through procedures and that procedure takes around 10 years. for a solid result this is necesarry i am afraid. at leat for now.
and lastly, i dont like to talk about "god" but let me just say this, if higher being exists and it acknowledges you through doing good then nothing matters that the book says but only a good of heart is necessary. but let just tell something, like as such god doesnt help bad, it also doesnt help the good. but just lets you be. there is nothing given by the god or taken. because there can be no favorisim under that fundamentalism.

A few years ago I lost my grandad he meant the world to me I wonder why I am here still when I thought nothing worse could happen I lost my best friend she moved to the other side of the country made no effort to speak to me and few months after she left I lost all my friends to find out they didn’t like me and where only friends with me was because of her.
