    Nice real life review Roger! Have used my fair share of wipes, never stick to a particular one but I am impressed with these ones they do look the business. One little tip is I don't rip the foil seal completely off, I make a little incision and grab a wipe out and feed it through, I find the wipes do not dry out as quickly because the lid is not a good seal.

      Good tip Zed I instinctively knew there must be a better way to do it. I will try it in future.

      For drain smells I found an anti bacterial soap does the trick instantly. But back to your hands. I was cringing watching you smearing your hands in all that lot....

    Great videos, could you do a test of impact bits? I have some Wera ones which are good but wondering if there is better out there.
    Also think about Patreon donations as I support a few channels via that who don't want of qualify for loads of adverts!
    Thanks.

      Thanks Edward
      We will certainly look at impact bits and impact drivers. Wear and good and so are Milwaukee Shockwave but there must be others worth trying.
      We looked at Patreon. It would be nice but we have mix of paid for and indepedent videos. This one is paid for but out head to head tests are never sponsored.

    That was some really thin paint. Didnt really look like paint on your hands. I've had plenty of different paints on my hands over the years and that looked way to thin to justify it working the way its advertised.

    • @SkillBuilder
      @SkillBuilder  3 года назад +1

      We hear this nonsense all the time. There is no cheat here. That is not our game. Buy some Big Wipes and try them out. If they don't remove your 'proper' paint I will get you a refund.

    Hi Roger, you did a great job of making quite a mundane item into an interesting video, I hope your hands are OK after all that! These wipes look even better than I thought, I may have to get some. I've had trouble in the past removing things like expanding foam and sealants, which inevitably seem to somehow get on my hands even when wearing gloves. I wonder how well these work on Evo-Stik Sticks Like Sh*t sealants and adhesives, which I believe aren't silicone based. Thanks for the video!

    • @SkillBuilder
      @SkillBuilder  7 лет назад +1

      Ha! Eicles, I think that the chemists that developed Big Wipes would be wounded by your description of them as 'mundane'. How a product manages to absorb all that crap and still put nice softener back into your skin is a clever trick. I have no idea how they do it but I bet it isn't easy. Maybe I need to get out more but I am genuinely amazed by a lot of this stuff and everyone I have demonstrated the product to wants to buy. You don't have to be a salesman if the product is good.

    Great review as always Roger!,
    Great product and have been using them for a few years now. Only small downside is that if the tub falls over in the back of the van it does leak especially the large bucket tub. However still wouldn't use any other brand 👍

    • @SkillBuilder
      @SkillBuilder  7 лет назад

      I think all plastic tubs suffer from that. They make a cage but not a bombproof outer can to put the plastic tub in. I guess they sell more that way.

    decent video roger. im a big fan of big wipes. they are brilliant but expensive. i use wonder wipes due to the cost savings but they still do the job brilliantly.
    not sure i would say this is a fair test. using the wipes before you dirty them helps stop the silicone and foam sticking as well to your skin. i often do it before a messy job. the real test for these needs to be on dry hands that have been working and the silicone will stick like mad.
    unfortunitly this is the test that they use to sell these wipes, its not realistic. .. they are brilliant wipes though

    • @SkillBuilder
      @SkillBuilder  5 лет назад

      I wasn't aware we did that. It certainly wasn't intended. We will rerun the test. I have never gone out to make a fake test so let me do it again and see if it turns out differently.

    • @MelbourneAlan
      @MelbourneAlan 5 лет назад

      @@SkillBuilder im not saying you faked it intentionally or accidentally . its just the nature of the way these tests are done. they are all done this way. i have noticed when using them that it is easier to clean your hands of silicone etc when you have already cleaned them with wipes. maybe they fill the pores and leave a film of chemical like barier cream does.
