My top tip is using a ladies blusher/foundation brush to dust those easily scratched screens etc in a car interior.
These types of brush are so soft, they will never scratch the plastic screens, or any other parts of the dash (I also use them for vents).

For interior my go to is now a soft suede shoe brush. Bit longer. I found hte nail brush was great but the tiny footprint means one tyre takes ages. The footprint is obviously much bigger on a shoe polish brush but much softer too. Still gets in all the plastic dips and nobbles but somewhere between a detailing brush and the nail brush. Ok its £3 as opposed to 50p but buy a good KIWI one or something will last longer than the cheap nail brushes too (in my experience). For tyres i use a hand held floor/scrubbing brush or a washing up brush if i need something smaller on a handle for the harder areas to reach. (i put a microfibre up to cover the rim so if i slip whilst scrubbing the tyre im hitting my hand in a microfibre not scratching the rim with it instead) and simply move the towel round as i work around the tyre face. Im yet to buy detailing brushes. I keep loking at them but bought Chalk Paint brushes during covid (3 pack on amazon 8.99) when detail brushes were out of stock everywhere. I had to go with what Tesco had as potential alternatives to drill attachments and brushes, that two years later im still happily using. Shoe polish brushes are great on interior carpets too with the APC/interior detailer/hand washing liquid (for wools, as those detergents are really soft and gentle). I have one for carpets as a scrubber and one for all other plastics to prevent cross contamination. Easy to clean after too, so ready and perfect for next time.
