8:00 the shadows aren't flickering. They were really made like that to give an effect of strong winds in the area. They are shadows from branches and leaves from the top of the trees which really sways faster than the shadows below which makes it more realistic since that also happens in reality. If you look at the surroundings, leaves are flying and falling down everywhere which came from the top of the trees violently swaying suggesting there are stronger winds above. These "flickering" effect give the forest more life than just steady shadows which aren't realistic.
I've found that Ultrawide gaming has spoiled me over the years with my 3090. 3440x1440 100hz. This resolution sure does eat up the vram, in my opinion.
This has come just in time as over the weekend got a 4070 ti super and this exact monitor. It does really great can run cyberpunk with max settings and path tracing and it’s feels very smooth on Dlss quality.
Path Tracing is viable for 4070 Super users, if they use PT mod, like "Ultra Plus", for example. At "PT20 Fast" preset it boosts framerate by 25% and also reduces VRAM usage. Also Preset E for DLSS helps to reduce ghosting.
Exactly what I needed to know. I have the DWF version of that monitor. Don’t want to spend so much on a 4070ti SUPER or above to play the game on a high fidelity settings with Full RT. OLED and HDR combined makes older games look amazing. Should this be my first RT and NVIDIA GPU?
