- Every Halo game has some rooms and areas you aren't technically supposed to die in. But we found a way in Halo CE, Halo 2, Halo 3, Reach, Halo Infinite and some of the other Halo games.

In halo reach "the spire" when you are flying into the shield and crash( in the cutscene) you can destroy your falcon by shooting the shield with the grenade launcher turret.
Yes I do that all the time
damn I never knew that!
I've killed myself several times during that mission with that turret. Like what happens if I bounce the grenade off the canyon wall? Oops, it landed inside the Falcon, now what? Let go of button, boom!
I accidentally did that sometimes
Whenever we play it co-op, someone always kills us in the shield.... also you can also kill the other players' falcon if you're in the falcon that's behind the first falcon. By just shooting them with the launcher
In Halo CE, on the level Keyes, the cutscene where you find the captain can trigger before killing all the flood in the room. If this happens, the remaining flood combat form will continue smacking Chief in the back throughout the entirety of the cutscene.
This won't kill Chief, but it'll definitely kill the dramatic impact of the moment.
ACTUALLY they can kill the Chief in the cutscene. His body will even stay afterwards and in addition to the AR he holds he'll drop a pistol and three grenades.
That Chief is of course an AI actor but you're actual character is under that platform; Flood CAN in facto find you there and kill you; if this happens you get reverted and on MCC at least because you died during a cutscene (unless they patched it) you also lose the option to revert to last CP (presumably because the game hasn't seen you finish the cutscene). Apparently it's an oddity there too because in most other cutscenes (particularly unskippable ones the game would give you invincibility; that's the case for instance at the end of the library where you can get to the Index platform without killing any flood and you'll repeatedly get screen flashes and rumble (if on controller) from flood smacking and shooting you but you'll never get reverted during that one.
I actually had this one time and Chief did die. Keys's neural implants were just floating in the air.
My time to shine: the 👌 ships are R’sikosh-pattern Man’o Wars, developed by Sangheili Artisan-Armorers just before the Writ of Union was put into effect. The first R’sikosh was created by Pelashar the Strident to directly contend with the Anodyne Spirit, where it met with partial success and forced the keyship to land.
@rocketsloth is this yall or a bot?
Gotta be a bot, the profile only has one subscriber and nothing else.
Fuckin poop nerd...💩🤓
Sorry lol and Thank you for the lore
@@santiagovargas6777 These telegram guys are all bots. Just report them as spam and move on.
3:23 just seeing a shot of poor chief faced down made me laugh so hard
I remember in Halo 2 on the OG Xbox finding that rarely if you crashed diagonally into this one trashcan in the armory just right, it would pop your shields. Wouldn't kill you, but hey... 🤷🏻♀
I like your flag!
Hello, fellow trans person with taste.
The halo 2 tutorial room.... I accidentally killed myself waiting for the skull activation.
Just pushed a wonky physic crate against a wall and it launched back.
That assault on the control room death was hilarious. Master Chief is just casually walking so proud and BAM, splat.
I did something similar with a warthog in Silent Cartographer just after that gold elite on the platform Chief walks out on to kick the little greeble off the edge.
@@spiderplant damn son
I read this on perfect timing lmao
There was one instance I saw in a Halo 1 video where it's possible for Master Cheif to just fall out the back of the pelican during the ending cutscene.
I'd like to think that his insistent of not sitting down lead to him just falling out the back as it took off.
That was a longsword i think
Chief's stubborn inability to take a seat has led to the deaths of atleast one drop pod worth of marines. It's called karma.
@@halogeek6lifeboat
In Meridian Station there's a MASSIVE pressure launch you can do with the marine that is on the fence to the right (when you first walk in). He paces back and forth and if you shove yourself into his path you can get yeeted into the stratosphere...
The part when Dim was dying over and over was absolutely hilarious to me
Bonus for the armory, if you have the pinata skull on and grab the skull on legendary, you can melee Johnson and get plasmas to blow yourself up
In Reach, it happened that my spartan died just before a cutscene (needed to be perfectly timed) and she was replaced by a generic White Mark V [B] Spartan.
This sometimes happens with the hologram ability too.
That's funny
Fun fact (though you probably already know this), but in Assault on the Control Room, you can actually hop back into the pelican at the start of the level immediately after getting off it. If you do that, you can ride it a pretty long way before just spontaneously dying. Technically you can die at the start of that level, but not that way normally.
Imagine being a crewman on poa, you wake mastercheif up, but instead of saving you from the covenant he just jumps really high and falls to his death
If you do POA on LASO you can easily die to the series of explosions on your way out of the first room, long before you get to the bridge
It's funny to think what is going through everyone else's head as they watch chief repeatedly find dumb ways to die
Dying in places that you are not supposed to die is an art, and I am rather good at it. I once managed to team kill half of my own party in an JRPG that does not allow you to attack your own teammates, I still somehow did it trying to kill an enemy. I did kill that enemy, but also killed 4 of my own units that were more valuable than that enemy unit....
8:30 the sheer vomit of grenades brings me joy. Did anybody ever say there isn't enough grenades in the world?
Shaxx, probably.
In The Armory on Halo 2, if you get the skull during the tram ride you can punch Johnson with it, and by using the piñata skull you get a grenade to die with
In Halo 5 there is a crate outside meridian station that has fire in it and as long as you aren’t revived you die as normal.
I remember the AOTCR banshee one as a kid and I could not stop laughing!
My favorite is getting a checkpoint when stuck in a dumpster in ODST
Because of how you just sort of wander into the end of 343 Guilty Spark with Flood fighting Humans and Sentinels, there's a higher than average chance of the cutscene being broken by someone. I've absolutely exploded mid-cutscene by a Flood who managed to be in the area, shot at less lethally by them, been meleed by them, and just have had them do funny jumping photobombs. As soon as I figured out that the cutscenes were real time, I used to troll my uncle by sticking him right before a cutscene started, which seemed to be inconsistent as to whether it would remain.
In Halo 1, explosives and explosions actually do less damage to you than on heroic difficulty. I remember a long time ago Bungie saying they were thinking it would be too hard or something so they just toned it down for legendary.
On easy a frag will put you one shot from death actually.
iirc this is due to the fact that on legendary you take less damage from your own weapons, including grenades. I think I heard about this in reference to performing grenade jumps on legendary being easier than on heroic, since you take less self damage
I made a video about a way you can die in the tutorial part of Cairo station and made an awful laugh after. Some objects in the first room are rideable like the little tables in the room. You can have a little race with a friend or two because there are 3 of them in the room.
Those ships in halo 5 are called man o' wars I believe
the ok symbol👌ship you mentioned is the R'sikosh-pattern man o' war, an ancient sangheili ship from before the covenant
THIS AREA IS NOOOOOT YOUR GRAVE
BUT YOU ARE WELCOME IN IT
me whenever i walk into a mcdonald
8:01 damn, those rag doll physics in HALO 3 ODST Anniversary are legit! 🤣🤣🤣
Bruh that Halo 4 Pelican Bay betrayal fight is one of the most entertaining things in the campaign
Eventually counter 3x
I'm usually counting essentially. But this is a rare occurrence where there's only eventuallys.
In Halo 2 Sacred Icon, going down the sliding chutes: if you jump at just the right timing to keep your momentum in the final chute before getting outside/to the Quarantine Zone area, the folding door will kill you when it opens if you're up against it in time.
In halo 2's sacred icon when you enter those sliding ducks the game starts a script where the player is invulnerable to damage.
You can tell when people run out of ideas and this is their moment
@Telegram me on 👉Rocket_Sloth can’t wait for that
Halo 5 riveting facts: walk of edge. *claps enthusiastically*
Sometimes I just watch RS videos cause his narration is tops, the articulation and word selection is so godly hahahaha
I didn’t know there was Acrophobia in halo 1
Probably an MCC exclusive thing unless it is straight up mods. I haven't seen it in the OG XBox, PC, or 360 anniversary versions.
@@scottthewaterwarrior It is probably mods. I have mcc one an Xbox one and last time I checked it didn't have acrophobia
Just checked on Xbox and the skull is not there. They probably forgot they had a mod for it.
There is now
I always enjoyed cutting the cables the held the station in Halo 2. And then jumping right as it started falling causing a death.
My favorite is in Halo walking up to Keyes during the cutscene and having the flood just kill you as you walk to him if you run past them fast enough and let them live
That one where the banshee kills you in Halo CE on the late Control Room mission, I did that _by accident_ when I was younger, because I wanted to keep the banshee and thought by having it at the end that it'd appear in the next mission.
I distinctively remembering how weird it looked, because Chief was like, at a -15 degree angle, just like, standing straight up, partially phasing through the ground as it would teleport him around.
I once killed Cinematic Chief on The Silent Cartographer during that scene where he walks out to the edge of the platform and kicks the thing off.
A friend and i managed to get the warthog in there, and drove it out towards the platform, and it coasted over him after the cinematic started.
The mission where you crash land and the hunters blast out of that door. You can get behind the door before they blast through it and kill them with a warthog. You can skip that whole map essentially by grenade jumping/ Mario jump but that requires two people.
You can actually push the boxes into the shield test station in Cairo station, and they'll kill Chief around half the time. Don't ask how I figured that out.
Master Chief is unfrozen right before the battle of Alpha Halo but instead the Pillar of Autumn has turbulence and fatally slams Master Chief into the ceiling.
Did you know in the run after the tutorial if you have boom/cowbell on you die in the second exsplotion when you open the door I died a great many times to it
I love coming back to this channel and just binge watching it all, but for some reason I remember you guys hitting 1 million a couple months ago but now you're nearing 300k? Am I tripping?
It's funny how you have a frag grenade and even a plasma grenade when you are doing the Halo CE tutorial. Where did he get the plasma grenade from?? 😄🤷🏼
Maybe a souvenir from fighting on Reach before entering cryo on the Pillar of Autumn?
About the Halo 2 armory bit, at some point, the guy goes "Settle down, you're gonna sprain a tendon!" He's not kidding. if you jump around too much before testing your shields, or maybe after too, i dunno, you will die.
I got caught in a loop on costal highway were when you go to the little arena area at the end Virgil would die as he left the olifant, he would die, and there was nothing I could do but restart the level
Same. Do you know how to fix it?
@@ALLMINDmercenarysupportsystem if you just let it reset to last checkpoint a bunch of times (usually ten or more), the game will eventually reset you back _two_ checkpoints. Kind of annoying to wait for it, but it can be more convenient than a full reset
in cairo room you can die if you kick a box into the the shield generator and then activate the shields and sometimes the box will super chop you into the next halo game
I remember once i spent two hours pushing boxes and punching Johnson, in halo 2, and the droping him from Cairo station to earth.
funnily enough i tested something similar to this in ODST recently
i had infinite ammo on and threw down a firebomb right before interacting with an item. the scene played partially and the reverted me to a previous checkpoint lmao
You can also die in the truth and reconciliation if you deactivate the cells that captain keys and his marine squad if the elites and grunt in the hallway are left alive
Back in the day on easy, halo 2, when the guy who tests your suits workinng good dies, if you stay underneath and dont go out to save him (only for him to die) eventually he kills some of the elites and he is in fact saveable however he wont do much unless you push him out to the other enimies
_"Halo 5? Oh! You mean the Locke game!"_
Master Gunn’s does make it too the ceremony. The people deserve too know!
That explosion on Pillar of Autumn that the tutorial guy dies in can kill you if you stand there long enough.
The ok looking ship is called the man o war
Collab with Generalkidd would be 👌
What ship is that?
On halo ce on the lvl keys if you do the flood skip and do not kill the flood that are in the flooded keys room and trigger the cutscene they will kill you in the cutscene
pause 1:25 when the camera cuts into the cryo pod in the corner and it shows a spartans legs resting in there!
This video will be very good
You will be very good
meanwhile : *procede to bring a ghost INSIDE the scarab in halo2* YES! not over it but INSIDE!
Those ships at the end are living frigates from no man's sky??? XD
in the armory you can put sticky grenades on Johnson and Gunn's to ket them agro I believe
When playing halo 4 (I can’t believe I haven’t found ANYONE with this issue), yknow the beginning where MC gets hit by that giant piece and the logo comes up? Well as soon as the logo came up, it booted me to the start screen and never saves. Weird!
Are you using a tool to get the acrophobia skull in CE or did MCC actually release it for that game??
Lol a river of weapons and grenades. Infinitely spawning upon this infinite death loop.
try the 2x explosion skull, every explosion becomes deadly, even that first one on ce
But what happens AFTER YOU DIE?!
As a Dev I watch a tonne of these videos and no one ever shows what hapens after you die? Does the game Hang? Does it Restart Normally? Does it Crash out to desk top? Like what error handling methods are in place to account for you dying in certain areas where you arent supposed to? Or does the restart or load save menu just pop up as normal in which case, its just a place you can die in anyway?🤷♂
I did dying glitch in halo co on truth and reconciliation because i killed sliders before we went up grav lift so they throwin Granade on me and i was 1hp without shield and they were all alive up in ship so they will one shot me as soon as I spawn in
Hey So RocketSloth I know how you die by the explosion in Pillar Of Autumn turn Boom on I’ve died to the explosion a lot of times with that skull on
Hay do you know how to get the blood blade in halo 3 i can tell you how if you don't know how to get it
Its a series of deaths brought on by the skulls.....
Those ships are called man o’ war.
That, 9:23, is not a longsword, it is a sabre
i always played on shutdown in halo 4 and see how long i could last against my allies. i came out on top
Ooof I have some crazy spots in halo 2
I’m surprised you don’t get the Steam version and mess around in tag test, considering the cheats available.
Halo 2.. jumps into space lives.. halo reach jumps out of ship dies... 🤷♂️
pathetic Spartan IIIs
The deathless one!
Can you see which halo game has the most Hunters. I bet it’s going to be Halo. CE.
I will make a stream claiming I'm doing an Halo 2 deathless LASO run with one try only to die in the armory.
Tbh on halo 2 just put the bandana skull on and throw nades 😂
Those ships are man o wars
Gonk!
Man o’ war 12:27
My brother in Christ… Elephant not Olephent…
Indeed
Halo CE 2 betrayals final cut scene death is one of my favorites, death by lasers from the sentinels, epic.
Bro trust we were all subbed to kidd before you 😅
Damn cant even die
Scraping the barrel with this topic.. Not really fun.
hlao 2
Hi
This video feels incomplete... Like ao wht happens after u die???...dnt just move on do explain it till the END
One day I’ll watch one of your videos and maybe get lucky enough when you don’t spam “actually” every other word…. Maybe…
What’s with the photoshopped teeth in all your thumbnails
Those 👌 ships are ancient Sangheili ships called Man O' Wars.
Nice 9 minute intro. Clickbait
