I just got the carbon shred version as a gift from a friend. What a good friend. It's buttery smooth and feels quite nice in hand. A bit bigger than what I normally carry but I think I'll still get good use out of it
All I could find when I bought mine was the all murdered out version. It didn't stay that way for long. I sanded and polished the flats of the scales and the edges to a mirror polish. I left the milled areas,screws and pocket clip black and I got to say I really like it now
The price really does not matter as long as you love the knife.We all need to realize we are only on this earth for so many rotations around the sun. So we might as well enjoy it as much as possible
I agree with you. If you end up really liking it you never think about what you payed for it. I have never loved a knife because I got a good deal on it.
I love the way the flipper tab feels on mine and find it most comfortable. I own a ton of knives that I wish the flipper tab felt like this one. I own the all stainless silver version and find it very attractive.
I’ve really liked Stout’s designs for a while I keep skipping this one but I really do want one. This and the leviathan which is another of his designs by Boker

I think the numbers on the blade are the run number. The number on my back washed is 0393 and I was just looking at a picture of the same model with 0279 on the blade

That really is a good looking knife. The blade and handle design go so well with one another.
