That Fender Sounds Amazing Bro !!! Great Job Man. Love this Song !!! I Think in my Honest Opinion that Fender Sounds better than Geddys old Rick!!!!! Just my Opinion
Thanks glad you think so! It's one of my top rush songs too. Listen to it all the time. I agree I think geddys fender around different stages is the perfect bass tone. I like the ric sound but the fender tone is more interesting to me
Thanks! I would say I was an 'intermediate' player before I got into rush, but it's really playing rush songs that motivated me to get obsessed with bass practice. Geddys stuff just blew me away
@hemibass Couldn't agree more! Unfortunately, I'm not a musician, but all I'd want to do is play their stuff. The first time I saw him play ever (ASOH), I had an epiphany as to what a bass guitar can REALLY do. I was permanently hooked on them forever!
Thanks! Low at about 4.5/10, mid at about 7.5/10, highs at 7/10, drive at 6.5ish/10 is currently what I'm playing with (Hope those numbers make sense) Change it around quite a lot at the moment though
I'm not sure really that's just kind of how my technique has ended up. Probably many years of watching Geddy Lee and trying to copy how he gets his sound! Thanks for watching
Toca muito amigo, saudações do Brasil 🇧🇷
@@bruno_metal thanks

Totally awesome 🤘🔥
Thanks for watching my videos
Such a great tone
Thanks for watching! Fender jazz with a sansamp. Can't go wrong :)
That was awesome, just perfect! The song, your sound, your playing, spot on!
Thanks! Really nice to hear that. Glad I did a new version of it :)
Well played, I must do this one some day!
Thanks dude. Yeah it's one of my all-time favourite songs. Love it
Sounds fantastic as usual! Really got a great sound going.
Thanks. That's nice of you to say this is a sound I'm much happier with than some of my earlier videos. You got more Rush in the works?
@@hemibass Good to hear you're dialing it in! Yessir I've got a few more in the works!

👏👏👏👏👏👏 So awesome!!! Well, well done! How long did you need to play before you could take on Rush songs?

Super good playing and really nice tone once again! What kind of settings do you have have on your YYZ pedal?

@@hemibass Alright thanks! I'll try those settings on mine because I'm still not happy with my settings lol
how to hell do you play this with 1 finger? Nice job
I'm not sure really that's just kind of how my technique has ended up. Probably many years of watching Geddy Lee and trying to copy how he gets his sound! Thanks for watching
@@hemibass @Live99 Geddy uses more than one finger, you definitely can't play most of his stuff correctly with just one finger, nonsense.
Fender mexican?
Japanese! Never tried a mex version of the geddy signature but my friend has one so I'd be interested to see how they compare
