They are becoming proper collectable classics. But now is the time to buy one. You won't find one for less than about 13k though unless it needs a few £1000 spending on it. I got my Toyota engined S2 for 16k and that's only because it needed some work.

I don't agree, an exige is an elise... modded by lotus. This thing has a body kit molded of exige bodypanels, and is upgraded in such a way....that if any elise deserves the word Exige on it..... It's this one! I think the freethinking people at Lotus wouldn't mind calling this an Exige 3.0 ... :)

For those interested in information on the Turbo it's 'Kinugawa'. 2 Hybrid turbo Makers in China that used to be together until they separated. One is 'Mamba' and the other is the said Turbo. Debates would flare up on forums about these turbos being 'Ebay' specials. I can tell you this much, they definitely are NOT! Lots of people around the world running big reliable power on them. I have a Mamba K04 hybrid on my VAG motor. Massive respect to the owner for building a Gremlin of a car👊🏽.

If any of you have ever had gasket trouble and reached for good old faithful k seal now you know why it's called k seal. It was originally developed for this engine as they needed it so frequently lol
@@andrewburns1912 no that's not how you fix a head gasket issues. You replace the plastic dowels with metal ones and you'll never have to do a headgaskets again.

As soon as I clocked the Dunton exit of the A127 I knew this was a local one. Recognised all of the roads but not one of them big enough to get your foot down!? Plenty of places a few miles away to really give it some beans. Looks like the guys unit is a few hundred yards from my home. I'll keep an eye out for this 👍🏻
