I have been fortunate to actually listen to him in this type of setting, moving!!! I feel this may be the way Joe can be most appreciated. His music is so personal and intricate it needs to be listened to, not partied to. Great talent.

Much better guitarist than I'd realized. He tends to bury his playing on the albums.
That is why i said i was lucky to listen to him live, in this type of setting. He is amazing when you actually can hear the finer things in his performance.

Joe is touring with Lisa Hannigan during June and will be playing at the Woody Guthrie Centennial with Kris Kristofferson.
