- And there you have it, Another great years worth of level crossing footage filmed by me Joe Thorpe. It has been such fun visiting these locations, and meeting new people. Thank you so much for following me throughout the year and the past 4 years which will be exceeded in April 2018. I really hope you Enjoy watching this video, Please leave a like subscribe to me and leave a comment or ask me a question. I will look forward to bringing you 2018 footage!
Yes - thanks, Mr. Thorpe - even before I saw this, I loved sitting by Lincoln Central and Woolhampton level crossings. Now after seeing this I want to even more.
Awesome level crossing 2017 compilation, Joe! I'm currently working on mine now. Every one of the crossings I have visited this year so far (up to yesterday) have been put onto my compilation, this won't be uploaded yet though as I still have the crossings between Cardiff & Gloucester to do (which should hopefully be done before the new year).
Brayton crossings barriers
Are the same old barriers that used to be at lowgates crossing
My little boy loves your videos so has kept him entertained for hours. Thank you. We all got so excited when you got to Suffolk. Have you been to the Gt Blakenham and Baylam crossings? We pass every day.
Clare T Ahhh Thankyou 😁😁, I did film Great Blakenham and Baylham In 2016, and I’ve filmed all the level crossings in Suffolk along with a lot of other counties. I’ve got content on here that can keep your young lad entertained for years! Ive made a compilation of every level crossing in Suffolk feel free to watch. m.ruclips.net/video/wXPa_3kDM8Y/видео.html 👍😁.
Joe Thorpe This is too exciting! Thanks so much. I’m going to get my husband to watch it with us. I think we’ve become obsessed! My little boy calls it “red lights flashing” he’s only two. Thanks again.
Aww bless him, I’ll probably come down to your area of crossings in future. I’ll bring my friend too.

I think that building's been abandoned for years now - I first went to that crossing on Marston Road in 2022, and again on Monday this week, and it seems like no-one's been about for ages.
Nice work Joe. See you in the new year to help you with your challenge ;) :)
