I went on this route from the opposite direction: we started from Otagi Nenbutsuji and walked back to Tenryuji, if you're a tourist,after Adashino nenbutsuji, there is a Mayumura shop selling souvenirs made from silkworm cocoons. They are unique souvenirs and not expensive. In your video it is at 22:02. It seems that many people know this route now. By then it was quite deserted. I didn't see anyone else until Adashino Nenbutsuji and met two Italians travellers there! Thank you for today walk, it bring back my memory!
