About The Mortuary Assistant:
Having completed your degree in mortuary sciences, you have taken on an apprenticeship at River Fields Mortuary. Over the past several months you have logged many hours aiding the Mortician in daily tasks along with learning the ins and outs of the process as well as how to properly handle and care for the deceased.
Late one night, you are called into work. But there is something different about these bodies because there is something different about you. The phone rings with the Mortician on the other end. The rumors are true, and you can not leave.

The guy isn’t dead, and you aren’t still possessed. The 2nd shift doesn’t happen ‘after’ the 1st shift per se. The 5 shifts/‘endings’ are independent- like parallel timelines, basically. It’s part linear and part random. There’s an overarching linear narrative that progresses as you play and ultimately culminates in the ‘true ending’/finale, but each shift/‘ending’ is also a self-contained substory that you can experience in any order depending on your choices. It’s kind of weird, but I think it’s the dev’s way of avoiding the usual tedious repetitiveness of most multi-ending games by adding some narrative structure so you’re not just replaying the exact same thing a dozen times to try to ‘unlock’ all the endings. I dig it.
Seen this ending a couple times, and I have to say that I appreciate how Raymond's character explains why he keeps fighting. It comes off as more genuine, knowing he isn't doing it for some higher purpose. Just a guy that wants to keep living and some semblance of peace.

It's hard to imagine, I know, but it's more common than people think for 14 year olds to have a drug problem; especially when one or both parents are addicts. Our protag here had the latter and while her dad got sober, her mom unfortunately OD'd.

Also as far as the Manscape promo goes, after watching Drae do one dressed as a Squirrel and telling me how weird my nuts are, well, nothing is topping that.
IGP why do you get so surprise that the guy is alive? It's five parallel stories. On the first one he died because you didn't put the medallion on top of the possesed body before you burn it so the demon possesed you and killed the owner of the mortuary. This time you did everything right and you get a second different ending. 3 more to explore!!

@@rafaelalodio5116 Makes way more sense the other way though. Evertime you finish you start new, that plays into the whole "new experience everytime" (randomization) bit. Story wise the continueity doesnt make sense too, pretty obvious thats its meant to be a new playthrough.

IGP, to open that door in the basement you need to find a hidden key in one of the ID card drawers. Just interact with everything in the drawers to find it.

the creators of this game truly deserve awards. Not many games truly scare me anymore, but I literally never know whats coming next during gameplay, its amazing. I’ve watched quite a few playthrus of this game and in each one something new happens. i rly love when games cater to the way each person plays and interacts with things throughout the game, & gives different reactions from each interaction. also a huge plus to watch igp play these games 😊

That part where IGP is just walking towards the door and then a face pops up scared me, but when it grabbed him it scared the absolute crap out of me! This game is full of spooks and jump scares but it looks so good!

Wow, just...wow. I'm sitting here eating my pizza, hard of hearing...on the edge of my seat just literally mesmerized...and I got a jump scare. I actually got a jump scare watching a horror game...that has never happened to me before. I don't know if it's the quality of the game or just how contagious IGP can be...goddamn!
There are very few games that make you feel watched the entire time. The spooks give your brain a chance to process what you just saw and make you wonder how long it’s been there just… watching, LOVE IT. Hope you find all the spooks and continue this series.

There are some items in the apartment that you'll need to grab if you want the other endings and the key to the other door you found is in the third drawer under some paper.

Hey IGP brother, in case don't end up finding it here, the second key needed to open second door in basement is in the drawer under the drawer that has your work id card in it to left of body you're embalming, and to right of Cavity Fluid, its a drawer with some paper you can click on to move it to the side and find key underneath it, ALSO in your apartment there's a green box in drawer with some important things inside if click on the green book sized box to open it after clicking on drawer to open drawer, plenty more to find and play for

I think one of the endings is letting the demon take over like he said, and maybe another one might be just doing her job normally and heading home like nothing happened. Might also try burning the wrong demon or the wrong person with the right demon, or no demon at all (spelling the demon's name wrong)
