You can see we are sort of on the same page. When I saw the Transformers in Bay's films I saw mechanized warriors not "walking junk piles". When it comes to movies like Transformers I pay close attention to the visuals. Those Transformers and the way they moved was amazing and great eye candy. Also, when they transformed it was so cool and intricate. It showed how many parts are in a transformer. It looked complicated and detailed. That is why they were so cool to me. It was also a fresh look.

As far as the public releases were concerned (not including DLC via pre-order), there were 2 packs. First pack included the 3 pre-ordered characters from the various retailers (Shockwave via Gamestop, Jazz via Best Buy, etc) and some maps for Escalation and Multiplayer. The second pack sold a few months later included 2 new characters and another few maps for Escalation/Multiplayer.
Stoked to hear news of the demo this week!

Of course they are. Playing with Grimlock is just really amazing. And soon they are playable characters or are. I just love playing multiplayer and escalation mode. I hope grimlock and other dinobots get a map on escalation mode. I would just love to play with Grimlock again. Fall of Cybertron FTW and Transformers double time the FTW.
Spire and Tempest are my favorite maps! Sewers and Array are nice, too!

Bay's films aren't "shit." They brought in new fans into the franchise, and if it weren't for him, we wouldn't be getting FOC or these amazing Transformers games and shows right now. He actually revived the franchise. So respect his work.
my favorite multiplayer experience i keep coming back to it the only thing i would want is maybe some more maps and to fix that glitch on the map "launch"

they added way more colors since the demo, and even new parts and vehicles. you can check it out at gametrailers' channel, it's like " fall of cybertron multiplayer walkthrough" or something.
Pause at 1:08 It is a mix of warpath and Megatron with reverse colors of and red and brownish orange. XD

Combaticons are just like the regular characters. Of course they're going to be in multiplayer. Dinobots will also, but as future DLC.
They started working on the multiplayer around May or June. The campaign is going to be big and epic.
I know its a DEMO, but multiplayer demos that have customization actually have all of the color palettes. From what I've seen with the Demo, it looked like these were all the color pallets to begin with.

It's not Fortress Maximus. It's an ancient Autobot. That map takes place in the Sea of Rust and that area has tons of ancients buried in the landscape.
It's a taste of what the customization will be like in FOC. Trust me, we'll have more. You can see it for yourself in the multiplayer interviews and gameplays. Also, all of the armor sets don't contain all of the characters.

The customization is a great improvement to the last game, but it would be kinda cool to include dinos as a transformation choice or game-type

I like Michael Bay's work. I think those films did a great job on the action scenes and the character design. They weren't perfect but they are one of my favorite films ever.

1. It's a demo. Nearly everything is gonna be locked and more stuff will be available in the full game. 2. Warcry from WFC was newbie and overpowered (with the perk Rage.) 3. I too miss the color wheel from WFC kind of, but the new is actually better in my mind. The Autobots can finally have the color white and the Decepticons can get the Autobot-friendly colors.
Well, you need to be thankful that he revived the damn franchise. Whether or not you like the movies, at least be thankful for that.

The Dinobots and Insecticons will be playable in the full game as DLC later on. They were initially considering releasing them at launch, but balancing issues and such of having dinosaurs and insects running around compared to cars and such in multiplayer, caused them to have to release them later. Unfortunately, I doubt microsoft and sony will simply allow these DLCs to be free.
still can't find any DLC chassis or parts in this..Anyone remember how the put the DLC packs in the multiplayer trailer in the first game?
Bay brought the Transformers franchise back from the dark. If it weren't for him, we wouldn't have gotten WFC, leading up to FOC.

Even though Optimus Prime is a noble leader. All other ways of peace or evading conflict were exhausted. OP quickly realized that fighting for survival, justice, and freedom for a species that had nothing to do with Cybertron was worth killing and dying for. Also, Bay's films made the Transformers franchise stronger and brought it to the modern age. WFC & FOC are games that made are deeply worthy titles and made the franchise strengthen further. Look at those at a different light will you.
youre right he did bring alot of new fans in....but not fans of the older franchise..he got fans of that specific brand to TFs...maybe a few for games like this but not as many as you think
That's not Metroplex. That multiplayer map takes place in the Sea of Rust, which has tons and tons of ancient Autobots buried in its surroundings.
I know they ended it the series with fall of cybertron but wouldn’t be cool if we gotten a sequel called Transformers the End of Cybertron with unicorn in it or the sequel showing them in earth 🌏 and then discovering earth and it inhabits?......

Demo on July 31 (that's Tuesday) for Xbox 360 and PS3.
It's not going to have all of the color choices available as the full game will have. You can easily tell there are WAY MORE colors than the ones presented in the demo from multiple gameplays and interviews describing the multiplayer in FOC.

more weapons, more parts to buy, and more levels because u reached lvl 25 pretty fast and bought all the parts pretty fast. and weapons are only 4 for each class D:. oh and if it isn't to much they could add that u can choose between 2/3 weapons for ur verhicle mode too :3.

To a degree I agree with you that the original designs looked boxy (though they have definitely improved over the years). But then again, the whole point was that they were armored mechanized warriors in the Giant Robot tradition--what makes me ill about Bay's designs is that they're walking junkpiles made of exposed un-protected mechanics that anyone with a wrench and some rebar could take apart with minimal effort. Prime and WfC at least tried to fix that, actually armoring them decently.

I never said he was the best thing since sliced bread, Kate Beckinsale, Marvel Characters and Halo. Yes he could use some work. He can take notes of other big names in Hollywood. He can figure it out with the right guidance.
