Thanks saved it! I live in Atlanta, so it sounds like a cool place to escape to. I tell you Georgia is such a beautiful place everywhere I go, except maybe right downtown Atlanta... I just don't like that vibe! I do love this state. I am from California and so it is such a nice change of pace and I don't have to worry about forest fires so much!

Hi Doug. Haven’t stayed in that area. We stop a little further up in Cordele at Veterans State Park. There’s 2 campground just off the interstate in Valdosta that offer big pull throughs. You get some road noise, but good places for a day or two overnight break.
