dawn!! when you spoke of anime, studio ghibli movies came to my mind immediately, they are filled with gorgeous architecture and cozy interiors! i recommend them so highly, they are so inspiring and easy to watch!

Agreed! There are many to choose from, can't go wrong with a Hayao Miyazaki film. I always recommend Howl's Moving Castle, but that's because it's my personal fave. :D

"Howls moving castle" would be a great starter if you haven't seen anime before. That movie is beautiful and I'm sure it would inspire builds for you as well :)
i agree about mt.komorebi builds sometimes being too matchy and posh, i love the more down to earth builds, and if you want to get into anime i'd start with the cowboy bebop english dub! it's a classic and the anime i suggest to newbies haha
love the builds in mount komorebi! you definitely didn't over-do it with the red i love the poops of colour and the garden en the kitchen are so cozy!

Great modern animes to start are „your name“ and „weathering with you“. The stories are deep and touching. I started with them and like watching animes since then. And the architecture is really inspiring. I always wanted to build in Sims afterwards.

Love the teenagers room and red accents in the house. Like others mentioned, studio ghibli movies are very good and the interiors are so cluttered and homey. Hoping for more non-western worlds.
Just wanted to pop in to mention about the Chinese red teaset, it’s usually used for a wedding tea ceremony so it might add to some story that maybe the sims in this household might be getting married soon? 🤭 I love this little house especially the backyard landscape and might use it for my Asian family gameplay. ♥️

I love this build!! I feel like this home/something similar would work really nicely for the Akiyama household in your save file. I think the mom comes from Newcrest/Myshuno so she doesn't really fit in Mt Komorebi and there'd probably be some western decorations in their home too!

There is one. Simoperty made a stop motion video of it. It's just a small channel and I think one of her first videos so it's not perfect but the build itself is pretty good.

This is seriously one of the best sims build I’ve ever seen!!! So so good and I agree with the other comments I’m not a huge anime fan but I love love love the ghibli movies like howls moving castle, spirited away and ponyo!

As a rule, red is one of my least favorite colors but I really like all of the red accents here. I think it's the perfect amount. It's a very pretty and cozy feeling house.

As many others have said, Studio Ghibli films are a great starting point for watching anime! Ponyo, Spirited Away, and Totoro have more Japanese-based architecture and design, while Howl's Moving Castle and Kiki's Delivery Service have more European-based architecture and design.
"Words Bubble Up like Soda Pop" is a cute anime movie that is on Netflix with really cute more modern Japanese architecture
I recommend watching fruits basket! I wasn’t into anime but this one changed my mind completely! so wholesome 💗 will definitely make you laugh, cry and love everything about it! It also has the most beautiful and breathtaking art!

if you want some good anime to watch i highly recomend any of the studio ghibli movies, i think you would like them and they have a lot of cute houses in the movies, these are the ones i like the most in case you are interested in watching ''kiki's delivery service, Howls moving castle, Ponyo and The secret world of arrietty'' just to name a few 😅
I know I'm a bit late but i would love to see a build with the packs; city living, get togheter, island living, cats and dogs, cottage living, dream home decorator and tiny houses, I only have these packs so I would love if u build smt with this! Ur builds are just so stunning and wonderful!! luv u!!

Good starter animes you should watch are studio ghibli movies like Spirited Away and Howl's Moving Castle. Violet Evergarden is anime series that I recommend too.

8-9-22: i started my first anime a couple weeks ago not thinking i would like anime. now i am addicted to it. i really wish i could download this house because i love it. i just got high school years and i love it! if u dont have it, i recommend getting it!

You should definitely watch studio ghibli movies. Howls moving castle is a favorite over here.

i fell like it’s be really cute if you made more homes for elder sims, maybe a couple that no longer share a room that way they have their own little spaces. i know my grandparents had their own bedrooms when i was a kid. also would love more lgbt representation on your page ☺️
