In my opinion the idea of fighting other persona user is great. I just find fighting human being is more frightening than fighting big shadows. There should be 4 on 4 fight, with the ability to debuff, buffing, healing and exploiting weaknesses. It would be very challenging.
@@fnkjesnfkjn Strega are in the throes of death and only surviving cause of the debilitating medication to suppress their power, so it makes sense they’d be weak at least at first. The second fight in Tartarus should have had them off their meds and going all out, potentially with evolved personas.
@@sinklar7946 Imo Strega was such a wasted potential, they were lackluster in both Story (except Chidori's arc with Junpei) and Gameplay, I do wish for a future they would bring back the concept of a group of Persona users as rivals to the Main Cast, but executed better.
I love Strega as antagonists, the idea of a rival team of Persona-Users that are an opposite group to the heroes instead of a one-off fight like in other games is so damn cool. They're even better in the Remake, they're actually challenging and Takaya interacts with Makoto _far_ more, which helps the idea that they are opposites and a Christ/Antichrist parallel a ton. My only complaint (and something that Reload couldn't fix easily) is that they aren't battled enough. Chidori is only fought once, and there is not a single point in the game where you battle all three. In a dream scenario for me, Takaya and Jin would be fought slightly after Arcana Chariot and Arcana Justice because that's when they first make themselves important. Then hold off on them until the Moonlight Bridge, and fight them in a 4 on 3 battle instead of just Takaya and Jin. Battle Chidori as normal, and instead of fighting Jin and Takaya separately, fight them both at once where Takaya is normally encountered on January 31st. Jin could be killed during the battle, that way the end of the story where Takaya is left alone on top of Tartarus during the final boss doesn't have to change.
Jin being constantly angry because I covered all weakness and I’m about to “clean his clock” *military term for pummeling someone, and his persona is a giant clock (Moros, god of doom)

Same i was worried about Strega my Chidori fight went: Yomotsu Shikome use Tarunda Misturu use Bufudyne Akihiko use Ziodyne which shocked her Aigis crit with Fatal end All out attack killed her… she didnt even get a turn
I love how, for plot purposes, Takaya’s bullets are fatal in cutscenes, but only do moderate damage in battle. My guess is that he ran out of hollowpoints.
Speaking of Takaya, I love how dramatic he is when he summons Hypnos. Everyone else; Shoots themselves in some way, Takaya; Gets down and reaches for the sky.

I just played through to the end of this game, for the first time, last night. It was so worth it. I will definitely replay this game, too. This theme music cranks the badassery up to eleven.
Truth be told...I did buy Persona 3 Reload but due to the massive backlog of games that I got, I was not able to play Reload as of yet. What's wrong with the reload version? I read that Shoji Meguro is not that main composer.

They would rather be on the tried & true path of making kick azz music but when it finally get releases, people are complaining about how it is lackluster compared towards the original version.
imo one of the reason P3 is better than other persona is the opening introduction to personas, gun to the head smiling + this music + thanatos burst (which is a show of the protagonist's power to change persona), no other persona game can top that

That scene in non canon and will always be since it completely ruins Junpei's arc.) unlike someone like Aketchi who's just wandering the metaverse for all of eternity after Shido's palace crumbled. And Adachi is in jail on a possible life sentence, though he might get out someday since he's extremely repentant and apparently a "model prisoner." I don't know enough about Japanese criminal justice to determine if he'll ever get out, so I can't ever determine if he'll ever appear again outside of cameos or otherworld shinanigans like PQ or Arena Ultimax. But yeah, Strega and Adachi are likely to never appear again as while since even though each Persona game is self contained, all of them happen in the same world canonicly (except for P2IS which is an alternate bad ending timeline) so events from previous ones exist on later meaning that at the time there are 3 current wildcard users (Aigis, Yu, and Ren) not counting the P1 and P2 cast who are all "wild cards."

Matter of fact they didn't even have full control over them seeing as without the medicine the Personas tried to kill them. Kinda like how Haru couldn't fight cause her persona hadn't full awakened yet, but she could go in the metaverse. it's supposed to tie into that different forms of life/ man vs machine theme going on

I thought Jin was more annoying than takaya, I thought Jin was just written bad and to be takaya’s partner and not a important character. But I think takaya is a really well written character and had a lot of unused potential
Personally I liked both takaya and jin. It felt cool to fight other persona users who weren't a plot-twist-then-fight-them-once villain (I still liked both adachi and akechi though.) I also liked their backstories (along with chidori's) and their characterizations and roles in the story.
More like Max from Gen 3 Pokemon, Vexen if he had skin cancer, and what happens when someone makes a human version of Sasuke Uchiha's signature move, but failed at doing so...
I would look at them as a form of polar opposites. These guys got Personas but in an awful way. And a result, they are retaliating against the world for how they came to be. While Mitsuru, Akihiko, & to some extent, Yukari was on the campaign to defeat Shadows once and for all and to bring peace upon Japan, Strega didn't want that to happen because they wanted to bring the end towards everyone. There are saints in the world that bring good vibes and there are the wicked in the world that bring bad vibes. That's just the way of the world.

I don't know enough about Japanese criminal justice to determine if he'll ever get out, so I can't ever determine if he'll ever appear again outside of cameos or otherworld shinanigans like PQ or Arena Ultimax. But yeah, Strega and Adachi are likely to never appear again as while since even though each Persona game is self contained, all of them happen in the same world canonicly (except for P2IS which is an alternate bad ending timeline) so events from previous ones exist on later meaning that at the time there are 3 current wildcard users (Aigis, Yu, and Ren) not counting the P1 and P2 cast who are all "wild cards."

yep. It was refreshing. The tartarus shadows were frustrating beyond measure so this was nice to breeze through.

@@Flynn_Lawrence No, SEES was Stronger cause Strega was artificial while SEES awakened to their persona's naturally. Matter of fact they didn't even have full control over them seeing as without the medicine the Personas tried to kill them. It's even mentioned at some points in the game, that Strega can't keep up due to the functional difference of artificial vs natural so they resorted to trickery. Kinda like how Haru couldn't fight cause her persona hadn't full awakened yet, but she could go in the metaverse. it's supposed to tie into that different forms of life/ man vs machine theme going on

You mean Takaya Sakaki? Yeah, bastard pissed me off when he showed his face. It was satisfying to have Akihiko, Ken and Junpei beat his ass when I played Portable.
I thought Jin was more annoying than takaya, I thought Jin was just written bad and to be takaya’s partner and not a important character. But I think takaya is a really well written character and had a lot of unused potential
Personally I liked both takaya and jin. It felt cool to fight other persona users who weren't a plot-twist-then-fight-them-once villain (I still liked both adachi and akechi though.) I also liked their backstories (along with chidori's) and their characterizations and roles in the story.

Strega had to be stopped but beating them wasn’t a victory. They were like this because they victims of torture and we failed to save them.
I would look at them as a form of polar opposites. These guys got Personas but in an awful way. And a result, they are retaliating against the world for how they came to be.
While Mitsuru, Akihiko, & to some extent, Yukari was on the campaign to defeat Shadows once and for all and to bring peace upon Japan, Strega didn't want that to happen because they wanted to bring the end towards everyone.
There are saints in the world that bring good vibes and there are the wicked in the world that bring bad vibes. That's just the way of the world.
