Great tutorial! It's amazing how much came out of that small amount of seeds. Just be careful with the raw castor seeds and pulp, though. They are extremely poisonous. The poison is cooked away so it's important to follow her instructions on the boiling and temperatures. But be careful with the raw stuff and wash your equipment well after.
How much seeds did you use to make oil for this video? Can you please tell me the quantity in pounds? I’m now on my third attempt to successfully make castor oil at home and your video has by far been the one that has shown the process in the most simplified way.
Thank you for this video though its late for me, I didn't know that castor oil is made from seed so I throw away the seeds when dustbin truck came and regretting now, nxt time when I get hold of it, surely will try.
Lovely, Keep it up. The castor oil seed, after removing it from the shell, there is still another she'll covering the real seed inside like a pod. Do I need to brake the pod and remove the main seed before I roast it.
No it won't,castor is a base or carrier oil, which means it really has a high heat tolerance of upto320°c without loosing it's structure or structure, and mind u every seed containing oil, must be heated in other to activate the oil
I've watched your video and enjoyed it so much. But if I don't have a freezer to keep the scooped oil for it to separate can I leave it till the following day? I need a reply pls. ❤❤❤
Fresh seeds have more oil. When I crush fresh seeds in my fingers the oil is present. Not so much with just 2 month dried seeds. Use whatever you have available though.
The paste of almonds is thick and even when sieved and frozen, it will not release the oil to float. The best method is compression using a machine but that will not be homemade again. This is the only method I have seen works for homemade almond oil extraction. Though the yield is low.
In my opinion, the smell of the regular one is as a result of roasting for longer time than 20mins. You may want to experiment roasting for about 30 to 45mins or when some of the seeds you're roasting starts popping, before allowing to cool and proceed as guided in this video. It's a great Content and honestly the simplest method by far from my search!
There are two elements. 1. Upon seeding an RTA chain drops that kills surrounding plant life. RTA 123345 (by recall of case study I believe that was the identification.) Secondly, the ricinus is within the bean. The poison can kill at three micrograms. 32% have partial immunity, and in cases of poisoning average 20 years. Poisoning reflects bile production increase and dramatic loss of creatine production. If poisoned, it may kill within 72 hours. Should one survive 72 hours the average expectancy is 20 years.
You mean the castor seeds? They can be gotten in a big market where aboki men sell things ,like clove, turmeric, sunflower seeds, zobo, pumpkin seeds. etc. Or simply check a shopping mall near you
