  • Another 500+hrs of my life condensed into 8 minutes. This is a 1956 Chevy 3200 series long bed pick-up truck. Built up and bored GM350 with a 4-on-the-floor Saginaw transmission. Picked up in Oregon and trailered back home to the bay. This was a mostly mechanical project- minimal body work at this point, only addressing the serious stuff. This was the old owner's high-school project that had sat 30+ years. I got to use a huge duffle bag of vintage parts for this one that came with the truck. Actually did a bunch of custom work to get this one running and driving solid. This truck was a big hit at the Les Claypool car show in Petaluma.

Very nice!! Glad to see you kept it a longbed. Too many of them getting hacked up these days for the shortbed craze. 👍

Thanks! I couldn't imagine shortening it. I was told only 1 longbed for every 100 shortbeds were made.
