Still waiting for the day where Getter Emperor, Mazinger Zero, Ideon, and Genesic GaoGaiGar are default units for a story where you have to curb stomp a god of the entirety of the Mecha genre.

honestly it would be better if they all team up to stop getter emperor and add simon while your at it since getter emperor is basically the spiral nemesis as a physical being

I think this version of getter robo is probably the strongest among them in my opinion. I like the fact it has the memories of different getter robos from many parallel worlds so it can use any of there abilities like ShineSpark or many other moves we haven't seen before.

Man, I remember reading Devolution back when it was still ongoing. It had me confused at times but was pretty great overall, with a really neat take on Emperor and how humanity tried to interact with it.

Devolution is actually my favorite iteration of Getter, and I'm glad it got a lot of justice in 30 (imo).

It definitely had the most love put into it as far as the DLC goes. Hopefully we get a full on plot inclusion in a future game

Getter Robo Devolution was...fine, I think? I think it gets a bit weird and not all that great towards the end, but everything beforehand was pretty good and interesting (for the most part).

I agree with most of the criticisms near the end, but overall I feel it was enjoyable. It wasn't Ken Ishikawa, but it was a welcome take of the franchise after his death

@@RevoSKL I mean, I enjoyed it too despite the issues I had, it's one of the better Getter spin offs, just on the low side when you compare it to other spin offs.

I decided to buy a steam deck just so I can buy SRW30 with all of its DLCs/expansions, and it will be money worth spending.

Hopefully with this for the next SRW they'll give Armageddon a break and let a new Getter take it's place, maybe even use Devolution again and let it be at full power since it is quite obvious it's missing quite a a bit of attacks that it's supposed to have in 30

How do you get devolution they’re robo, the mission world astray never shows up on my games

You need to have Hayato and Benkei with Ryoma in Shin Dragon for the mission to appear

@@kristiguillermochamorro1996 do you have the expansion DLC? It doesn't come with the deluxe editions of the game, those only come with DLC 1 and 2, the expansion DLC is a separate purchase

I don’t think so I just bought the game and the dlc are not for sale anymore on the play station store. The last boss fight is the lady’s lady something. The fight with the sisters. If it’s an exclusive thing that will suck.

This whole "Getter pilots are edgy and crazy" has been overused in my opinion. Benkei ends up being the only guy that I relatively like in Devolution.

I feel Devo's team is a bit more reasonable than some of the other entries, Benkei as you mentioned probably being his most tame incarnation. Ryomas always have a sense of "hell yeah fuck things up", Hayatos are some kind of terrorist, Devo's being like, financial terrorism, and Musashi/Benkei is usually the level headed one. Basically a traditional trope for the series, considering Getter pilots mostly go insane due to the Rays
