OK, so I am a 77 year young woman who just started taking piano lessons for the first time five and a half months ago. I absolutely adore classical music which is all I would like to learn much to my piano teacher's dismay since most of her students prefer other genres and she is trying to gently guide me into other types of music which is fine. What I wanted to say is my parents made me take accordian lessons as a kid for 9 years! And I hated every minute of it but it did give me a good foundation for learning piano. When I was around 12, I learned this piece of course on the accordian it's much easier I would think because I only had to learn the right hand. Left hand was all buttons, looks like a lot but really very easy. I love Flight of the Bumblebee but dare I consider ever getting good enough to attempt it?

A lot of the phrases are just repeated over and over again. The best way to learn this is to use drills (playing the phrases on loop over and over again). Keep doing the drills until you are perfect, then put it all together and play the whole song. Just take regular breaks as your fingers will hurt.
@@venomag9350 yes and no. music composition and it's theories have a bunch of fancy words to describe a specific movement or effect. But basically, it's math(eight notes, 4/4 measure, etc), patterns(scales, chorus, etc) and harmony (dissonance, consonance, etc). Because of this, it will create shapes that are intentional. For music sheets, experienced players will recognize these patterns because they have a better understanding of music theory while less experienced players will be focused on a note by note basis. They aren't hidden. Inexperienced note readers or those that simply don't know how to read aren't capable of visualizing or recognizing these patterns unless shown in a program such as this. However, recognition of these patterns is what allows experienced note readers make it seem like they can understand music sheets in a glance. It is just a matter of practice and experience.

It's Lang Lang
Tsang VanessaL ling ling is a joke character who is the perfect musician that practices every instrument 40 hours a day
A lot of the phrases are just repeated over and over again. The best way to learn this is to use drills (playing the phrases on loop over and over again). Keep doing the drills until you are perfect, then put it all together and play the whole song. Just take regular breaks as your fingers will hurt.

This piece isn't hard.
SpookyTitle Gaming ???
@@user-cm2rx5dl6w Do you legit think this piece is complicated in any way? If so go listen to some liszt or chopin and come back.
Wow reminds me of the final scenes in Shine where David is playing this at the restaurant. That was so well done. Like a breath of fresh air. Bravo!
It's really impressive how Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov left hidden triangles and arrows in his music that our modern technology has only just found.
Andrew Scott I don’t think he intentionally made them triangles
@@venomag9350 Now the only question is what do these hidden symbols mean???
@@andrewscott7728 😂

I'd love to see how the cziffra transcription looks with all your fancy lights etc.. Yet another step up in the difficulty ladder though I understand.
I had some of that down a while back, although at this point it would take a few more months of solid practice. Definitely planned for 'one day'.
Rousseau cool, in a weird way it actually almost feels more comfortable in octaves I find, I don't think my left hand is good enough though for some of the other parts. You're very talented to be able to get out a new video each week, you've nailed it in terms of channel growth too, may the lights guide your way haha. Cheers.

You are possibly the most impressive musician I have ever had the pleasure of watching and listening to! I've been watching your videos ever since your mayday cover. You have inspired me and rekindled my love of the piano. Really great job, and I already can't wait for next Monday! (En francais: Tres bien, mon ami. J'adore cette video!)
Jezi Wilcox I'd recommend you look up the 3rd movement of moonlight sonata performed by Valentina. It's unbelievably amazing.

TwoSet would discriminate him with what he’s playing
@@chigster3419 true.... In their opinion they don't even consider this piece as difficult at all, they spoke about this when they reacted to that Indian kid who played this piece on two pianos at the same time.
@Deadvillex why?? Can't accept criticism from ACTUAL professionals?? I would rather listen to two set violin when it comes to classical music, not just some glam up hobos who would wow at any "scripted" auditions/performances
@Deadvillex the fact that you can't stand them shows that twoset violins are not meant for people like you who get easily offended.... All their roasting isn't something new and it's not like they're th only ones who have done it and also it's not like they're destroying their career over their roasting.....
@Deadvillex it appears that your opinion on them is highly critical when you know nothing about them. You keep to your opinions and 3 mil followers that they have will keep to their opinions....
