this took a trip through so many different animation methods and honestly that alone is enough to impress me
I tried to mix it up every now and then to keep it interesting. I also wanted to try some low poly-3d after working on simmular models for other projects.

When you think about it, the line "It's getting hard to breathe" is much more horrifying when you remember that Cabinet Man's lungs process change.
He is literally dying from a lack of players.
I realised that while I was animating. It is a realy tragic song with the man dissapearing and people thinking he was dead, him eating metanance men. And him taking a crowbar to his face.
Honestly when i hear that line my first thought is "because your lungs are full of coins dumbass"

Imagine how the robber felt like when he noticed there was someone inside the machine all along. I read a theory in the comment section of the song that the robber was one of the kids that went crazy with the game and they came to destroy the machine for their vengeance.

@@sh0tsumedits It talks about kids being driven to madness from the game in the song. And the imagery shows 2 kids turning into adults. So it's entirely possible.

I think he's the one who decided to be that way through experimentation. Unless some killer stuffed all his organs in a cabinet to hide them or something.

He said he went nuts with "electric desires" and then put himself in a box "for safekeeping" so honestly he may have lived longer as a gaming cyborg than as a human. In any case it was on purpose.

@@tabithabaird9591 well i mean i dont think his whole body would be inside it just vital organs kind of like how it described i think him being "inside" the machine is more of his conscious being inside. Also, if he was completely in it he would have been reported missing at the beginning, not dead, which means there had to have been some kind of remaining body. jesus that must've been a sight

Thank you! I'm glad you like it. I used this animation to learn how to draw and animate pixelart, but I also wanted some 3d that felt like the Tron movie from the 80ies or older 3d games. The other animation styles are just there to add some variety.

The moment the guy started dancing at 4:00 i instantly pictured him doing the fortnite dance.
I'm adding to this love pool. I was expecting either disappointment or utter glee(normally the former) when I saw there was a fanmade music video. I think everyone diving into fanmade projects- to a degree- feels that way.
I was OVERJOYED. Any plans I had to give it a crack went out the window. I adored the design of the Cabinet Man, I loved the mixed media, I even loved that you didnt have to make it particularly gory or include any shock factor and -that- matched the tone of the song.
I love, love, love, LOVE this- bravo to you and whoever helped you make it! I squealed the whole time.

The design of cabinet man in his arcade form created my fellow student Angy www.artstation.com/angyschick . She also chose the song from a couple of Lemon Demon songs I sent her. We started this as a short project at university. I did everything else in this video, since Angy had other stuff to do.

I love at the end when the guy who broke in was being killed and you could see the face of the guy inside going through the glass screen. That was a really nice but freaky detail to it

4:00 that moment when you get 100% on an autism test without studying
The part were blood pools up at his sneakers sends a chill down my spine imagine what's racing through his mind at that moment, "What the hell, is that blood, it can't be, paint?, WHY IS A MACHINE BLEEDING?!??" Then snap hes pulled against the machine were he struggles to escape until his neck is snapped or he suffocates.
This is pretty neat, it lines up perfectly with the story being told in the song and I like the use of different mediums a lot
Rewatching this, and I feel absolutely ASHAMED that I didn't say anything about the animation when I commented the first time. The truth is, this was my first time even hearing the song, and I was so absorbed in how freaking jovial it was for a song about murder and gore, that I got distracted from the visuals. You truly have talent. You nailed all these different styles, and I was immersed in all of them. It really is eye candy. Fantastic job. I hope to be an animator like you someday. :03

How have I not seen this in the 4 years it's been out? 🤯 Idek where to start w how much I love this animation, it's a true work of art!!
I'd be here all night if I were to heap praise on the sheer artistic & technical skill involved in this masterpiece, so I'm going to focus on one tiny bit. My favourite creative choice by far is at the moment where he grabs & devours the vandal. The switch in styles from clear pixelly colours to a scratchy black scrawl to a white chalk/tape outline is INCREDIBLE. It conveys mood, tone, & events so clearly without us ever needing to actually "see" a murder (not that there would be anything wrong with that - I'm just impressed at how well you pulled it off without showing it).
Again, kudos & congratulations. I'll be off to binge yr channel now 💙

Thank you! It was fun putting all of them in the animation. Those arcades are all hybrids of a "modern" game and a classic arcade game.
The drawings on them depict the new game, but are hevily based on the art of the old arcades. The names are mostly synonyms for the names of the newer games.

@@pundertalefan4391 Yeah, I read it. But that was a couple of years ago. I was talking about the guy in the song killing children. Willy Wonka didn't in the book and Tim Burton movie, but in the older movie I think you never see the kids again, after the "accidents". I never though there would be something too dark for Roald Dahl. I mean in The Witches it is implied that the main character will die within the next three years after the book.
