"This is the pinnacle of American Knife making." Amen and amen.
Steve, i enjoy your knowledge and humor. You are by far my favorite blacksmith channel. Keep the videos coming!
Hey, man, thanks.
Green Beetle you deserved it mate,
1:45 Should've put it in at 1776 degrees.
Forge one big knife out of small knives!
Knifeception
aspe121 he already did that
There's also a guy who made a video where he forged a bunch of knives into a railroad spike.
Not used to the comedy from you.. I like it.
Was thinking the same as you. I like it alot
Shawn Hett go back and watch the videos again, you'll pick up on his humor. It's definitely not like this video which was epic, but he includes some one liners in his videos.
The Pizza Cutter video had similar comedy.
Yeah! :)
Keep making videos like this.
Please, never stop with the commentary, it's pure gold XD
100% to Charity Aprons are no longer for sale on eBay. TY, everyone!
Green Beetle So how are your bizeps(es?)names? And arent your triceps(es?) doing the actuall hammering down work?
did You Say Fayetteville?
Ridiculous, science is ridiculous. We embrace PSEUDOscience here, friend.
Green Beetle ummm....why is there not a shirt explaining that your biceps are illegal in 49 states and Puerto Rico?
Phillip Taylor just because they violate the laws of physics doesn't make them illegal. Although they are so in all 50 states. Legal in Mexico.
Ok, that’s THE best knife I’ve ever seen and this comes from a 25 year vet, knife collector and bladesmith. Great job...Murica!
Quench in soda? And have candy handles? Call it America knife 2.0?
Caleb Green the 'beetus knife
Caleb Green when I was having trouble w the French fries I made a few handles w fruit loops and cookie crunch but decided it would look like the breakfast knife w bacon O none side and cereal on the other.
Green Beetle thats a good call. Breakfast with beer though? Sign me up!
Caleb Green Brings to mind the song Beer for Breakfast by The Replacements. 😬
Caleb Green or micarta made of candy wrappers
The increased quality of these videos since I've been watching them like 6-7 months ago is just awesome to see. So informative. Quality humor and jokes. I'm intrigued constantly. Please keep making these videos I'm a huge fan.
I think the America knife should have been supersized
Great job, Steve! I've been following you for over a year now, and I got to say you keep improving, and your videos are always filled with tons of fun and personality, and a joy to watch. And, you patronize charities with the knives. Keep up the great work!
wheres the bottle opener, this is the murica knife
dangit!
You need a red, white and blue sheath for it.
The ULTIMATE ANTI TERRORISM COMBAT BLADE...LOLOL!
why do you need it most murican beers are twist off or cans
caleb archambault uhhh no. We don't make many twist off caps for beer. And all beer comes in cans AND bottles there's just a lot of cans because it's easier to open
10/10 for humour, and a solid 11/10 for presentation. Great vid, keep um coming.
Fortunately there is no moisture is American fast food.....what a great statement.
By far the humor in this video is my favorite I've seen in any making video. Well done.
this video was fucking awesome, pure comedy gold xD pls carry on with such kind of humor and these slomo initial forge weld hammer blows :D and mabye i should send you some austrian beer, so you got some, which isn't just water ;)

Comedy AND Craftsmanship? This is excellent.
Loving the commentary and the funny skits. 🙃
Always happy to see a nee video from you. Thank you for sharing.
I couldnt see the beer in this video, only a regular water quench. Damn clickbait!
:)
you've gotten better and better each time you make a knife and make an interesting video. Green Beetle you are my favorite
Haha I can tell you put a lot into this video. Love it
After having made a few blades back in high school, I couldn't agree more with your comment regarding how long it takes to sand out a knife... =) So true...
You made the beer warm though, which is VERY un-'murican.
Thanks for the chuckles. Greetings from Norway and have a great weekend!
David Caradines forearms - knowing what THAT means shows how old I am...
Right there with you...
The beer quench shot was awesome. Great video.
Comedy reminds me of "This old Tony", nice blade tho
dude. exactly what i thought. This guys totally copied 'This Old Tony' 's style
This is the coolest freggin thing i've ever seen done in a forge/workshop. 'Murica!
'Murica knife 2.0: Make the blade out of tire cord from Cleetus McFarlanes "Leeroy", and incorporate freedom eagles to the design. Hell yea brother!
Carl Holm you’d have to quench it in Mountain Dew
Comedian AND knifemaker... Quite a combo.
Next... pizza handle and red wine quench?
Video is great and I like the humor in it as well. Greatness...
JUST MAKES A MAN PROUD TO ENJOY BACON AND FRIE'S IN HIS EQUIPMENT.........
One of the best and most creative knives you have made so far. Love it. Comedy gold!
I really appreciate the new way of editing, it adds a bit of flair to the video.
Another great video as usual. I always enjoy your method of narration and editing. You keep the viewers entertained without compromising the informative parts of your vids. Looking forward to the next one.
This knife is freaking great! Handle scales are super slick and really bloody creative.
This is the most murican thing i have ever seen....God Bless Murica and fast food!
you're getting crazier and crazier man! keep up the good work, I'm learning so freaking much. thank you!
Finally found a use for beer. Good job.
Love the dry sarcastic humor so much steve, keep the great content coming!
this is like the epic finale to a series build-up. can't wait for season 2
Bloody great mate. Thumbs up from OZ.
This video sure took a weird turn... I like it.
Easily the funniest video I've ever seen on black smithing. Awesome knife too.
the snark and sarcasm just won you a sub, well done
My favorite knife you have made so far, don't know why, just love it!
you are harious and incredibly skilled. You made me feel like an idiot when you shaped the Tang on this knife. I have NEVER thought to use a cross peen to start drawing out the Tang. Keep on going man this was a sick video. peace from Canada
your production value is so good in this video. The slow motion and the artistic shots are so good
Best forging video in the Internet. Very entertaining 😄 thank you very much 👍
Wow, thanks!
You deserve an Academy Award....oh yeah...coolest blade I've ever seen.
This is the funniest forging channel, beautiful😂
This channel deserves so much more audience.
one of the funniest and funnest videos you made. had me laughing. Truly love your work man. Pretty sure I've seen them all.
The shot of him cooking bacon remined me of 5 Days a Stranger.
I absolutely love your sense of humour
I love the sarcasm in this video!!!
RUclips asked me how good of a video this one was compared with others I'd watched this week, I answered with "BEST SHITE I'VE SEEN IN A LONG TIME, 11/10"
the commentary is pure gold!
man! your videos are educational (to some extent), entertaining, funny, and they have good music and soundeffects! you, sir, are creating art! keep up the good work!
Sooo stoked when I see one of your videos in my subscription feed!
Probably the funniest video you have made to date. Loved it.
Really enjoyed the video. great narration and editing. The final product of the knife was great also.
this is one of the funniest videos that I have ever watched. Good job Steve
Damn, that editing and the shots were really really good. BESIDES THE DAMN KNIFE which is amazing
I like the humor approach
Great video as usual. When using casting resin in the future, mix it and pour in the mold, then put it under vacuum. Leave under vacuum till it cures, over night. Some use a pressure pot, I think vacuum leaves little to no bubbles.
Really good editing there, it really made the video funnier and dynamic.
Videos and the knives quality is ever increasing! Great job man!
Awesome video! I love the comedic twist.
very unique - hard to see something new these days - excellent work
This video reminded me of the way This Old tony does his videos...
Awesome vid!
Thanks!
The handsanding part is so true. Every time it gets to that point, I debate just starting a new blade instead. I would laugh, but the hours of trying to get one single scratch out have left my heart and soul a barren wasteland of emotion - completely devoid of anything except for a snarling, rabid contempt for red and black pieces of paper.
Really a great step up in editing here! i have been watching you for at least a year now and appreciate all the work you put in the vids. and they are getting better and better! keep up the good work and thanks for the content! :)
i love his sense of humor
really enjoy your videos. I'm just blown away at the amazing work you do. keep it up
Love the humour in this video, it made my day.
That was some incredible production!
Ha ha ha ha ha can't wait to see the next one... Brilliant!!!
hi Steve. I love your humour man. the knife making is a bonus.
Nicely done, enjoyed the humor as well.👍
You should get a blow torch and put it on low flame then put the flame gently on the resin to pop the bubbles before it dries up
I tried that and a heat gun. it pops the bubbles but a few hours later more appear around the food item.
This video was great. Keep up the awesome work Steve.
I really like your new style, good editing with humor. Keep it up !
Sorry for the multiple comments but I comment when watching, this was the funniest and in my opinion best video you've ever made! Thank you for the laughs
I've heard of the tums method. Never seen it in action. That's awesome.
"My biceps are big enough to hammer the cold steel together" Lol
Lol this video will be a great resource for a future knife I have in mind. 'Murica!
You make by far the best and most entertaining knife making videos on youtube! ;)
Best episode so far. 'Murica!
This I believe is your best one liner video ever made my friend
Very clever humor, great knife sir!
mise en place is said like miz on place. it means everything in place. usually in a resturant means you have your knife sharp, board out,and your base ingredents ready to go
What a fun knife project
I just had to revisit the video, as I do about twice a year, because it is that awesome. 'Merica! And always blame Kevin.....
Awesome job forging, and I love the editing style! Subscribed.
Best video from you so far. Your knives are getting better too!
Cool video! & When casting resin, if you quickly blow the flame of a butane torch over the resin before it cures, the bubbles will disperse. I don't know if it's the heat or a cloud of carbon dioxide that does it, but it helps.
