Pokhara truly surprised us! This was the perfect way to get our first impressions in of Nepals tourist capital! From the moment we arrived we were greeted with relaxed vibes, exquisite views of Phewa Lake and some of the most picturesque mountain range. Overseeing the Himalayan range from Annapurna, the 10th highest Mountain in the world and Machapuchare - a pointy top mountain that’s never been summited! We venture out on a boat ride, eat some local cuisine and take a glorious cable car ending off with some of the most incredible views! Wow Pokhara! You impressed us! Don’t skip this beautiful place on your next trip to Nepal! ❤️

That is such a beautiful place, not just the views from the mountain top but the lake , which reminds me of Switzerland with the lake surrounded by mountains.

Glad to see you experienced Pokhara. Every child here knows Pokhara is a beautiful place but when you visit there is when you know the true difference, it's a different feeling, one of my friend said Pokhara is so good that you even enjoy in a confined room with walls around you. The air is so fresh there.

As someone who's only been to Pokhara during the summer (rainy season with too much cloud cover), I would highly recommend going during the fall, especially October. In general, Sept - Nov is probably going to be the BEST weather to enjoy Pokhara's views like in this video
Every time this city amazes me after living there for four years. This video is showing only 1% of its beauty but is still appreciated.
Whenever I return back home to Pokhara on a long vacation (as I have now), flying through the mountains from the capital city makes me realize that no glittering ultra riches of a foreign land will replace the happiness the snowy and green mountains give us. I was in Pokhara yesterday and went to Australian base camp. It is a short hiking from Pokhara but the view from Australian base camp is so unreal. You can rent a tent and spend a night with fire wood and bbq. And the next morning around 6am the view from there is so unreal. Even Tho I am from Nepal the mountain range I saw from that place was mesmerizing , absolutely beautiful. Hope you visit Australian base camp and spend a night there.
