Schwarzkopf got2b Dark Ruby Metallics Red Hair Dye Review!!

- I've picked up 2 boxes of Schwarzkopf Dark Ruby Metallics red hair dye, and I'm taking my hair from blue to red today! Now...this shade definitely looks more pink in the daylight, but I still consider the results to be in the red color family...and I'm super happy with my review results. :) Come along and see if this permanent hair dye would be a good option for you, too!

@VOLENA Love I cut all my hair off when my mom lost her hair to chemo. And it has been such a good thing. We do wigs, and I have tried hairstyles I probably never would have as my hair has grown back. Did you end up using this ruby color?
Being Barton yes and I love it my didnt come out as light as yours it’s a slight red color but it’s pretty the bottle when I mixed it turned out a lavender color so I was scared 😂😂 but it turned out well I was kinda hoping it would turn out like yours cause it was beautiful
Me too 😂 I saw her hair turned this bright I was nervous then I realized her hair was blue 🤣 I'm good! But hair color looks pretty on her💖
I like that. I think I've grown out of my "red hair" stage. 25+yrs was long enough. I like the violet/purple shades now.
I lost my mom to Pancreatic cancer 4 years ago. We didn't catch it early, and she was gone within a month of diagnosis. I will say a prayer for your family. xx
+67donnalynn Oh my!! My mother is in the hospital now...her Whipple Surgery was Thursday and we are doing everything we can...it is like a front row seat to a horror show. My sister and I are working in shifts. I cut off all my hair so mom and I could share in wearing wigs and sitting around the house without hair when no one is around. She is suffering so much. And we were so afraid she would be gone right away...but this fight is so terrible. Our family is so close. Thank you for sharing, thank you for your prayers, and I am so sorry for your loss.
I love that you wanted to make it red for your mom ❤️ , people nowadays are so rude about what their parents like. Their 'ultime" line has true reds you should try out

I got this in the same shade today but from their Brilliance range. Keen to try it out over orangey brown hair ❤️ it looks sooo good on you I was hoping for something a bit pinkish

+Angela M It was really weird, how this color honestly looked red indoors and then more like a jewel tone in the sun. For me, it faded to purple within 6 washes...so, just something to note. I would love to know how it goes for you if you try it. :)
You should try L’Oréal hicolor red... it’s for dark hair, no bleach, but you do have to use developer. It works wonders if you want something really bright. I would highly recommend

Saving With Jen Yay! Good luck growing out your pixie...and I definitely recommend this color. 😍 It really does look more red Ruby inside, I just prefer showing the results outdoors. It is fading to purple after half a dozen washes (for me). Just FYI.
How long would you say does it take for Schwarzkopf to fade? :) I got Brushed Berry Metallic I want to put over blonde dyed hair but hopeing it will fade out almost completely in a few months What do you think?:)💖 love your channel! :D
@L. Duke Thank you. 🙂 I have never tried to immediately rid myself of a new color...in 6-8 weeks, so much of the color naturally fades out. But not all of it. This faded to purple. I don't water wash my hair often, though. So you might find that your hair fades at a different rate. I shaved my head after this video, mom was going through chemo, so I don't have helpful info on the duration of time to have this dye wash out completely. We wish you luck! 🤞

I got the blue metallic and all that took was the roots, which makes no sense, since my hair is natural. Love yours though

Ohh inwish incould share a picture with you. My son had it done and it got pretty close to the box with a bit more purple tone. It has been months and has not faded much at all.

Well since you colored over blue and you used red dye it turned purple because red and blue make purple!

I have dark blonde hair and I try it out with metallic silver hair dye, and waiting for 30 mins then I washes it. It did not work at all. Nothing changed. This is my first time try it with dye.
+heavyrain4485 I just did the same thing with the same result...it is my most recent hair review video, how the silver metallic got2b shade doesn't show up at all on brown hair. I'm sorry this happened to you with blonde hair, too! I decided to lighten my hair and will adding a different brand of silver color to my now lightened roots soon. 🙂
Becuz with all silver dyes u must have ur hair a nice goldem blonde. Not brassy. The brass will make silver not shoe up.
Mine did like urs kinda turned out purple pink how do i get it back blonde without bleaching
@Carey Walls A friend of mine was talking about this the other day in passing. She suggested to me that crushed up calcium tablets and just regular head and shoulders shampoo successfully removed a color of dye she didn't like. 🤔 Which has peaked my curiosity! Now I want to look into that, just to see if anyone has a tutorial on calcium removing dye.
So there's a few things you can do to lighten the color. Take baths and soak your hair often! Shampoo and condition every day. After a while it will have faded alot. Then you can go over that color with a toner and 20 volume developer. It'll take time, but you won't need to bleach your hair.

Does it bleed or stain like splat does?
@Modest and Geek Inspired my Jesus This product cleaned up really well...it was nothing close to the mess of a splat color! I've only used the blue and purple splat colors, but the purple shade faded to bright pink...and both of those colors bled and stained everything. This got2b shade wiped clean from my skin during application with a baby wipe, and the dye itself washed down the drain nicely without leaving a terrible residue. It's a win. :)
My son used this to. It did not bleed onto the sheets at all. It did tiny the water the first couple hair washes after but that was it.

I just used this color about a week ago. Every time I've washed my hair since then the color keeps coming out. The bottom half of my hair now looks close to my regular blonde hair with a washed out red color. I do not reccomend this dye.
added note: I love the color but I wish it wasn't washing out.
@Mother of Dragons It's a shame, too. They shouldn't have marketed it as a permanent color, in my opinion. It's better to test your product and reveal to folks what they can expect. My color faded dramatically, too. And I probably would have tried it even it was labeled 'wash out'. 🤷♀️💦
You could have at least brushed your hair 🤦♀️
