Thats an awesome find. The matrix was a cool wagon of its time. Only 129000 miles still a bunch of life left. Wow didnt know the 4runner had 250,000 on it.
Thanks man, I hope to take it to a local track sometime and have some real fun! I feel like these little guys are way cooler than they got credit for when new, especially with the 6 speed! I can't lie we are probably gonna sell the Forenza and get another Pontiac Vibe GT (same car) or XRS Toyota (wife will probably like corolla better) lol. It's funny how well both the 4runner and Matrix hold up since they're both so old (2003). 4runner we bought with 224k and was supposed to be a cross country moving solution in 2020. The thing is so damn solid though! It has randomly became the one car we will drive until engine blows (probably never will lol). We just did a ton of work I never did a vid on actually, including New tires last year @ 235k. In September I just did new KYB suspension w/ loaded struts up front and new rear shocks. Then I also did new timing belt/tensioner and new idler pulleys, with fresh coolant, new waterpump and thermostat.
