How important do you think the thermal management advancements in Tesla’s batteries are, especially when comparing them to the claimed resilience of solid-state technology?
With Teslas established lithium-ion technology, do you think they can maintain their lead as solid-state batteries develop, or will we see a significant shift in market dominance soon?
As solid-state batteries promise higher energy densities, what implications do you think this could have on the overall design and performance of electric vehicles?
IM Motors solid-state battery boasts impressive charging speeds. How do you think this will impact consumer choices compared to Tesla’s current charging capabilities?
Given the potential longevity of solid-state batteries, do you believe consumers will prioritize lifespan over initial cost when making purchasing decisions for EVs?
solid state batteries are not yet a reality in production level…the battery from that IM car is a semi solid state one, not a full one. One has to be careful with the info that is shared…
yes lol, that has to be a mistake. Currently a mid range tesla EV has like 60 or 70kWh capacity and the pack weights like 500kg and you are saying you can have the double of the capacity with just 1kg 😅. The foreseen density for solid state batteries is way bigger than Lithium ones, but is like 500 to 1000 Wh/kg and not 130 000 Wh/kg
I’m excited about the future of solid-state batteries, but I wonder about their real-world performance.
thanks for your comment!
Tesla’s advancements in battery management give them a strong advantage over newer technologies.
Yep
Solid-state batteries seem like the future, but I’d like to see more data on their longevity.
It would be extremely impressive.
Quantumscape Solid State Battery is the future !!!
What performance do you think it will bring?
if this becomes realität all the petrol burner are finally history.
it will come true very soon
I think Tesla’s lithium-ion batteries still have the edge due to their proven reliability.
yup!
How important do you think the thermal management advancements in Tesla’s batteries are, especially when comparing them to the claimed resilience of solid-state technology?
This is clearly still Tesla's absolute advantage.
IM Motors’ solid-state tech sounds impressive, but can it really compete with Tesla’s track record?
We always believe in Tesla

tesla wins!
As solid-state batteries promise higher energy densities, what implications do you think this could have on the overall design and performance of electric vehicles?
It will definitely give you an amazing range. What number do you think?

What do you choose?

Thanks for your very meaningful sharing. But what do you think about Tesla's tendency to use solid-state batteries?
"130 kWh /kg'. I think it is a mistake of a factor 1000.
You don't believe in this density?
