This stack is stunning but it's hard paying the price for these because there's not many shadows. I really want the shape shifting stack but haven't made the plunge.
So I recreated the first look you did in the video and I used my P. Louise base. My shadows immediately started creasing. How did your final look wear for the rest of the day? Maybe I need to switch to concealer.
Melissa DC I didn’t wear it for much longer after filming because my eyes were feeling irritated from blending so much in one day! Maybe try applying less of the base and see how that goes?
I love those shades on you, your 3 looks are gorgeous! I personnally would have prefere the last makeup without lashes to keep the grungy side but loved your ideas!
I actually think the blue lipstick looked great with the eye look. You’d just need a more fashion forward outfit in order to bring it all together and pull it off no problem. Think of a bad girl or female villain in a movie. With regular clothes is a no-no, it looks “costumey”. Look up the character Xia in the movie Skyscraper (The Rock is the main actor). Something like that 👍🏼 Wet leggings, thigh high boots, plain top in black, moto jacket and studded jewelry 👌
Wenwen Liu no I didn’t I just had a big swatch party before filming when it had arrived. That’s why they look kinda squashed. It’s an easy fix if some do arrive shattered. Just add 99% alcohol and repress it and it’s works good as new
What a beautiful look, excellent job! I gotta say though I really do not understand the hype surrounding the smith 230 and 232. I'm an owner of hakuhodu, wayne goss, sonia G, and chikihodu and all of them are far less scratchy than the 230 and 232 and work just as good if not better at blending. I truly do not understand Sam ravandahls as well as everyone else love for these brushes that, while they look beautiful, are so scratchy compared to other high end brush brands. Do you have your own reasons? Have you tried any of the other brush brands I mentioned?
I do however really enjoy the smith 253 lay down. Now THAT is a unique brush. But I stand by that smith goat hair brushes are so scratchy compared to other brushes you can get at the price. And if it's about the shape the Chikihodu GSN 10 has a very similar pointed shape with nice soft hairs that down splay out when you wash them.
I’ve tried many many brushes but my favourites are still the smith brushes. They get scratchy if you don’t care and wash them properly. You have to treat them like your own hair since they are natural hair. They recommend dr broners soap, it has the right oils to condition the hairs at the same time as sanitizing them

Did you repress some of the shadows? I noticed they are different. I hope mine doesn’t come shattered. That’s one of the issues of melt shadows.
