This is a great video, very well researched, and presented magnificently, you definitely deserve a lot more views and subscribers.
I have many problems with the 1619 project, though I have even more problems with the 1776 project, mostly because I disagree with both their economics and historiography, I don't particularly care about the politics they preach about. As you have summarized most of my problems with the latter, 1776, I will be discussing my problems with the former, 1619.
Slavery as an economic factor towards American prosperity, and the foundation for American Capitalism, is, in my opinion, an erroneous idea in modern academia. As slavery was not only morally bankrupt, but also economically egregious in it's effects on the market, and I'd argue held back the South. Slavery didn't aid the South in production of cotton, and instead only stopped potential workers from creating any additional wealth to the economy. As after the Civil war, it only took around five years for the production of cotton to not only rebound, but actually exceed production from 1860. So, as slaves are forced to work, they have no incentive to work more than they have to, it is a system that doesn't lend it itself to efficiency. Also, because they're unable to consume or create products for the market, or even pay taxes, and so are unable to create growth. Finally, the Slaveholders wouldn't seek to create new technology, instead they'd just buy additional slaves, as there is no reason to do otherwise. Slavery held back the South, and if not for it, the South could've equaled the North in industrial might, the South nearly did after abolition, but reconstruction held down the steel works in Alabama in favor of Pennsylvania. Before abolition the South never really saw need for industrialization, as they thought slavery was a much more profitable venture. Slavery in of itself is an anathema to Capitalism, as it does not drive the creation of wealth, and instead is like corruption, a parasite, in that it creates stagnation in any capitalistic system.
Also, I find that racist zoning laws aren't the main reason why there are so many traffic jams in the USA, and Canada, but rather their overreliance on the car itself is the reason. For the past near-century the USA has experimented with a failed economic system, they've based their suburbs and cities entirely around the car, with a shortage of public transportation. Distances under this system make walking nearly impossible, as the density is so small, so you have to travel by car, as there are no other alternatives, which creates the massive traffic problems. Furthermore, I'd argue that at least half of all problems America is facing right now are because of this faulty economic problem, which I can talk about if anyone is interested in it.

I dislike both because they don't use anthropology.

I like anthropology especially as it was minor in undergrad. However.,in my opinion, anthropology is very limited in its ability to study the past, though some historians do use some anthropologic skills and knowledge in their examination of the past.
