Awesome video! We have a small boat like yours and you've inspired us to go offshore with it! Thanks for the informative videos!

Hi Heath, That was a great description of the reef fishing pattern. You're very good at showing where to fish for a specific species. Great video. Knowledge catches fish. Good to see Avi out with you again. Say "HI" to the Crew. Take care and have fun, Mickey

Hi Mickey. Yep, I had some fun making this one. Although it was a little challenging to cram decades worth of research into 12 minutes of info. I still had fun making it, by sticking to what matters most. Hope everything is good in Palm Bay with you and the family. Talk to you soon.

Hi Heath, I hope the Crew is well. All is well up here. Just a little cold and rainy. Take care, Mickey

I can say I was the first thumbs up! I have been watching your videos for a long time. Any changes with the bridal setup and rigging lately? Another updated video perhaps? The trolling advice was great. Thank you.

No change to the bridle... Still using 200 lb braid. Thanks a million for your years of support. It's what makes me keep on going 😁

Thanks for the video Heath! How are you attaching your 100ft leader to the main line? Thanks!

I attach the lead with a bridle setup. Here's a link to a video I made in how to do it.

    Great informative video!!!
Should I adopt the 'S' shape trolling till I find and hook king mackerel, and than stick to that depth?
Or should I keep the 'S' shape even after?

Excellent video. Once you find the kings after going back and forth over the dropoffs, do you try to stay at the same depth you get a hit at, or do you find the kings move to different depths chasing bait?

    • @SouthFloridaSaltwaterFishing
      @SouthFloridaSaltwaterFishing  4 месяца назад +1

You can can stay there for a bit... But kings are schooling fish that move... So you may have to keep in the hunt to find them again. They move with the current

First I enjoy your channel very informative, second why don't you wear a life jacket?

Thanks for your support. I'm not a fan of PDF's. Probably against my better judgement though. When at low speeds they aren't necessary, and I have a remote kill switch if I go overboard.

Howdy Cap! Just subscribed like the education. Do you have or could you make a video of what baitfish ans kings looks like on the graph? I hear that’s a huge part of getting on them. Thanks for posting!!! Liked the part about “S” trolling the reefs

Thanks a million for the support. Not sure if I understand what kind of graph you're asking about.

      Graph meaning your sonar

Ahh cool, yeah I was asking if you had a video of what the screen looks like when you find bait ans mackerel. I assume it’s clouds for bait ans arches for fish. But have not been able to find a RUclips video yet of someone showing that on the water. Like tutorial of driving over bait and fish and showing what it looks like.

    Hi!
I love your videos and learned a lot from them. 2023 was my best year fishing and a great part of it is thanks to all the knowledge you share with us.
    I have a trolling setup now, it’s a Penn Senator 14H on a Penn Slammer 30-80lb.
I want to add a second trolling setup, should I get something similar or spend more money?
I fish in the Key Largo area.

Senators are great reels. It's all personal choice.. if you're happy with the performance, don't change. If you're looking for a little more, then go for it... You can find internationals in new condition for a reasonable price
