The passion from both is wonderful. Harrington is a wonderful interviewee. He often goes way over time in his interviews because he simply enjoys the chat. These 2 would make a hilarious double team as commentators in the future.

I remember watching the 05 Open. It's the first time I remember the gallery actively rooting against Tiger. No one in that crowd wanted to see him get another major when the hometown fella could get his first. Amazing atmosphere.

3 at Carnoustie is one that might that strike you as great on the tv, but when you play it it's sublime. A terrific hole.
Harringtons 5w at 17 and tigers masters chip in are the two best golf shots I've ever seen and probably the only 2 I can remember. Enjoyed this video, thanks!

Fantastic viewing. Incredible photography and intelligent insight from 2 great players. Full of iconic Open moments on some breathtakingly good golf holes. Particuarly enjoyed the footage of Gene Sarazen's hole in one at the "Postage stamp" at Troon! Many thanks for sharing.

Monty gets a lot of flack but nobody can argue that the guy doesn't have both a real passion and the same as Harrington a brilliant golfing mind. Great to watch.

We need more short par 3's in golf. The long par 3's are getting boring.

The better golfer? Harrington has 3 majors
@@charlieleonard7610 Yes, if Majors is the only metric then Harrington was the better player.
However, Montgomerie had more career wins, had a better Ryder cup record, attained a higher world ranking etc... than Harrington.
Monty was runner-up 5 times in majors also.
Harrington was obviously a very talented player and he squeezed out every ounce of that talent to have the career he had. I don't think Montgomerie did the same and he probably was the better golfer of the two. He'll certainly look back on his career and think "I should've won more" whereas I don't think Harrington will feel the same.
