The only way I see that as a possibility is if they take what was Heartland and convert it to Division 3. Even then my bet would be at least 3 years given they'd need to add story lines.

@@jrt3ll they kinda gave us a few splinter cell themed cosmetics, but imo they suck lol. A real Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory or SC: Stealth Action Redefined costume would be sick

Hopeful that new GE events will be planned to add the cycle, or the old ones from div 1 with changes to match the balancing for div2 gameplay. This is bc I feel like certain weeks in the seasonal manhunt feel empty or boring.
Also more incursions bc 2 raids & 1 incursion seems lacking compared to the previous game however I will say those in div 2 have more mechanics and teamwork that require a bit more finesse. I will also like the addition of legendary mission be added to existing missions and new ones.
Gear 3.0 or this isn't gonna fix the core purpose of looter shooter... Give me back the D1 Vanilla Grind

I'm currently replaying D1 again, having a blast.
My concern with the Division franchise is Xdefiant. I don't know much about Xdefiant but everything I've seen so far is positive hype. If things keep trending that way I could see Ubisoft trying to cash in as much as possible and put more resources into that game, leading to less resources and focus on the Division franchise in the immediate future. The DLC being a year away is not a good sign.
Xdefiant is new so of course there's hype because it's a new FPS and the streamers are incentivezed to play it and promote it. We've all heard the next COD killer many times. But if Ubisoft starts buying in to those type of things then I could see them thinking this is their chance to hit it big with Xdefiant, whether that's realistic or not.
They better forward to Division 3. Now Heartlands is canceled they have time enough to continue on Division 3. Hope for 2026 begin 2027. Will be a futuristic environment, not old school like d1 and more diversity then only NY or Washington, maybe Louisiana with the alligators swamps. Vegas sandstorm. San Francisco earthquake etc would be awesome. NY as a whole PvP area and bring back underground pls
Just make all open world legendary and replace roques with hunters. Alterbatively make legendary control point /control points with full roques. Remake Washington dc (bigger size) gg 🙃😎
I think the only thing that will bring me back and I do want to come back is a second DLC. Im just so bored with their seasons. I’m also not getting my hopes up because I sure a majority of their developers are working on D3.
I still hope they gonna re-use the assets from heartland into division 2, new map like New York. And Resurgence.. aint my thing :P

Well guess what? Nobody is going to play Star Wars or Assassin’s Creed due to they are both woke titles plus the 130$ price tag on them is another deal breaker but somehow Doom never mentions this???
That's why I'm hoping D3 takes a few more years, so ubisoft learns that "woke =broke" and we get a game that is Identity Politics free, and just a fun game to play.

Actually, I dont know what to think after they cancelled Heartland having, what, 80% of the game done? The game had trailer! I wanted to get excited with this, but I avoid to make high expectations cause it can be just sad.. hope your words are right! 🙏🏻
Hey Kami. Loking forward to season 6 and the DLC. I'm angry the heartland survival was canceled. I do have a suggestion that you can communicate with the devs. I would lime to see the ability to play the world in legendary. Right now it maxes at heroic. Can u imagine setting the worlddifficulty to legendary?

Having now played the Division 2, I can safely say that it's nowhere near as good as 1. However, there are some elements in 2 that they should bring over to 1 in making Division 3. Hope this makes sense!
