I think it would be very fitting to give Gruuk the "Drakewarden" ranger subclass, closely connected to his dreams and the special encounter with the orb. Or perhaps to subclass him into a "Draconic Ancestry" Sorcerer, his eyes being the first sign of Draconic Connection.
What if you put your playlist on Shuffle and basted your character off the songs that you get. for example the first song is race the seconde is class the third is background and then you can even use a couple more for your backstory
Not a big fan of MtG I played it a couple times but the artwork has always been great! That being said, I love creating random characters. Occasionally I actually get to play one... Just kidding, I almost never get to play character. It's called "forever DM."
