- Today, I'm solving one of the age old problems, not being able to INSTANTLY change my D&D Background music. Through the use of NFC tags, some ingenuity, and a little bit of money, I'm going to make a keychain of playlists. Let me know if you need any "How-To" videos for your own dungeon master/ game master problems.

Thanks for stopping by!
That's quite an original idea. I like it!
Thanks! It was a fun project 😃
You have an amazing camera. Beautiful picture quality.
Also this idea is amazing.
Try adding a time stamp and copying that url to the tag to help you with not playing in the middle
If you use miniatures, can the NFC stickers fit on the bottom of base? If so, you could use that to trigger a particular NPCs theme music...
There are NFC coins too, instead of stickers, so you could just put them underneath!
these are big ideas
I usually use little flash cards with the current details I need regarding the location and NPCs in a given scene. I reckon sticking these on the back of those cards would be a game changer for me.
This is an excellent idea I will implement for my next game or the following! Thanks! ♥
This is so amazing and unique. I was searching for this problem in the internet for quite some time. Can you please give an example for the Spotify playlist to be played directly. (Not a single track, but playlist)
This tutorial works for Spotify Playlists too, but don't think it will play them automatically too tho:(
I at least know you can use a URL to immediately start playing a track, I haven't tried it with a playlist though.
@@BrnW1893 could you give an example?
One thing I could totally see working in the QR code thing is, just give it to a player. Let them pick the music so you don't have to think about it during the session, when you have better things to worry about, but they don't rlly either cause u did all the legwork of setting up playlists.
How do you get around the issue of RUclips adding ads before every video, and sometimes in the middle of videos? I've used playlists for my DMing, but I'll start something and it breaks the mood with an advertisement before playing the "stealth sound" or the "tension" video I wanted to play.
I am a RUclips premium simp, but I've heard of this thing called RUclips Vanced which is like a hacked version of RUclips. I can't personally vouch for it so beware, but it may be worth looking into. Otherwise I would see if anyone at the table had a Spotify premium account or something
