"There's a big difference between being alone, and being lonely" Is a very good statement that I think a lot of people overlook. Excellent video also.
thank youuuu
I love spending my alone time so I might do the same as he did, but in 2 years since I'm a bit too young xD
Traveling somewhere you've never been to will probably keep your mind occupied.
Many extroverts still don’t understand that concept and many think it’s just an excuse. Further complicating matters is the real and true issue of loneliness among people, who actually do desire companionship but because of increasingly competitive economic system and social structure it’s difficult to maintain relationships.
@@humanbeing5300 damn u said it very goodly
doing shit that you like alone has got to be one of the most chill things ever
can confirm it was amazingly chill
@@KeoTsang D:
💯
agreed
He is a sinner because he made a video of an important event in his life (such as birth day etc) yep sounds right
The cinematics. The seamless, flawless cuts and shots. The aesthetic. This is some next level film-making and videography. I'm glad I stumbled upon your channel.
It was like a professional chill and cool documentary. Love it :) 8:41 lol
Thanks for dropping by ahaha
Facts on facts!
me too
It is not.
coming from someone who lives in Japan, I've gotten so used to all of then "cool" or "unique" parts of Japan that I forget to appreciate them. This video really opened my eyes to the amazing place that I am living in and for me, this is temporary because I am planning on moving soon. Thank you for making me want to make the most of my remaining time in Japan.
enjoy your time there!
where to?
@@KeoTsang thank you i will ^^
@@jamesstepniak9831 USA. I grew up there
I want to go, do you have to know much Japanese to go there or are they quite inviting to people who barely know the language.
WOW THIS IS SUCH A MASTERPIECE
the B-Roll, the transistions, the flow of the video which makes 10min fly by like just one, and even the transition to the sponsor was so flawless that I for the first time didn't skip the sponsor ad.
I do appreciated it ahaha
Haha same here 😅😂
Egy magyar 😳
I used to think Hong Kong is a place where you should value money over ur dream/interest(or else you wouldn’t be able to pay the rent lol) but seeing u as a hker/hku student still take the courage to chase for what you like instead of doing what the society think you should has been really inspiring. Thank keo for sharing these with us and hope you have a great time staying in Japan ;)
thanks for dropping by ahaha
I have traveled to 35 countries (including twice to Japan), all but a few of my trips were by myself. I could not imagine seeing the world any other way; you have the exhilarating feeling of total freedom and a sense of achievement. Key is to plan well and take it easy.
yessir!
Doesn't it get lonely at times? Like you wanna share a laugh with someone or point something out but then you realise you're alone?
@@swisdom9117 You can do tours where you will be with a group of people!
@daenackdranils5624what if you’re both
@daenackdranils5624You sound like a myopic moron.
The train shots in the beginning where just astonishing. It gave me kinda like lxst cxntury vibes,keep up the work and good luck with the studying.
it's crazy good
As an introvert, I’ve traveled to Korea alone and I enjoyed my time there.. but that’s also thanks to my Korean language skill, I can freely ask people on street if I got lost.
Now, I am trying to travel alone in Japan… but I am afraid if I am gonna effed up the trip because of my zero knowledge on Japanese. 😭
it's ok my Japanese also terrible lol
You'll be fine.
I did 3 trips over 3 years focusing on different regions, 1 month for each trip with little to no Japanese language skill.
All you need is a little bit of planning and an internet connection.
when are you thinking of travelling? im flying out on the 11th and cannot wait!
@@elliothenderson2617 all by yourself ? have a nice trip! i wish you good luck
@@fennexfox98 yes! I’m going by myself for 3 months and planning to travel my way down the country visiting all major spots, I do have some friends coming out to visit but this is like a pre trip so I’m prepared for when I move out there
I did this right before covid and it was awesome. My time alone was 10 times better than when I met my friends almost at the end of the trip. Japan is amazing.
super amazing
Did this in 2018. Such a surreal experience navigating in a world beyond my comfort. Glad you shared your journey through Japan.
glad you enjoyed it too
I feel like repeating everyone down here, but yes, the way you make a video looks like a movie production is just insane and your personality does the rest. Always a pleasure to watch and listen.
thank youuu
This video came in the perfect moment, I was literary binge watching all the solo solo travel vlogs the whole day !! I would love to visit Japan one day, hopefully...
an amazing place to visit
I'm an introvert. And I've been to other countries alone too. I think I'm more amazed with how you were able to shoot all those scenes properly 😊 otsukaresama~
ありがとう!
It's pretty euphoric when you watch someone get to live your own dreams. I hope you get to spend time and enjoy things alone. and probably get more of this contents :)
much appreciated ahaha
I think Japan is the most comfortable country to travel alone! Did my first ever solo trip to Hiroshima and just as you said, “as much as I love travelling with friends, it is also nice to spend some time with myself”
it was amazing!
It's always and I really mean it, ALWAYS a good day when Keo uploads.
thank you so much
Your comment simply but perfectly describes why Keo's work is so engaging.
how does this not have million of views??? this is amazing and so well put together
thanks for dropping by ahahaa
it has 2 mil now
Those trains are freakin DOPE bruh. Also how does your editing get better and better with every single video??? I'm in awe
Train of thoughts
glad y'all liked it too ahaha
I miss Japan a lot. Japan is defiantly an introverts dream. Love it!
Thank you for this video.
Glad you enjoyed it!
so damn underrated. I can't describe how good the video was, and the effort that was put into the editing is just as good as ever. I would pay for watching something like this
thank youuuuu
Thank you for making this. I am a solo woman and believing that I will stay like this maybe for the rest of my life and a bit scarred of traveling by myself. I have done it once and turned out good. So yes lone time is always a good feeling. INFP here!😊
much love!
I'm a very impatient person and I very rarely sit through an entire video without skipping ahead but this definitely did it for me, even the ad. Great cinematography and editing, loved it.
thank youuu
Definitely a dream for me :0 I've been struggling having friends since I'm a kid, even keeping friendships is really hard but I like doing stuff by myself , I love taking random bus alone with unknown destinations , it makes me happy .
I hope one day I'll be able to travel alone and safe cuz let's not lie some places can be dangerous if you travel alone
:( apart from this, nice video ! I love the shots and sort of "vibes" it gives you made a super work on it
gotta do it someday!
Well, I still get goosebumps from your storytelling, it is so special, so great - simple ideas executed flawlessly. Loving every video!
thank youuu for dropping back again!
This film felt like a meditation session for me. It was as if i was traveling with you and sharing the same mood. I am a total sucker for this kind of soothing cinematography and music. Thank you so much Keo. Also its so nice that you are taking feedback from every comment.
~~~chillest dude on youtube~~~
much love
Mate, you are *really* good at film making! Your video made me so comfortable! The shots had really nice framing, the transitions were smooth, the music is calming and overall, this entire video is so wholesome! Thank you for putting the time into making this, and i hope you can enjoy a lot more things like this in the future!
will do!
This was breathtaking to watch. I loved every second and I was hooked!!!!
If you ever offer a class on story telling and/or editing. I would buy in a heartbeat.
I’d love to make videos with half as good quality.
Great to see you again Keo!
I am working on it!
@@KeoTsang looking forward to it
amazing cinematic’s Keo, only 3 minutes in and i’m in awe due to the footage you’ve taken of japan, hopefully when i grow older i’ll be able to do the same thing as you and vlog my experience i’ve had in japan. Truly remarkable
thank you so much!
The part that I love the most was when you closed the lights and see how calming the vibes night lights of the streets are. I suddenly remembered the time that I was here in Japan last March. I had to see their cherry blossoms and enjoy their high-speed trains for our TV show.
was really nice
Man, first off… the editing!! The coloring!! The diffused light in that train WAS really beautiful. I love that. This is so so good.
Also… hell yes for you getting out there and exploring alone. This is a really good step towards building up the inner independence. It makes you feel really proud of yourself, ya know? It’s awesome.
thank you!
I don't have much to say that hasn't been said here but I'm not only impressed with how well you interact with your community. But also how you can inspire people by simply traveling. (I have a dream to travel alone around the uk, south east Asia, and just to go to Canada.
thank you so much for dropping by too! it means a lot to me
Travelling alone is so much fun, I'm glad you got to try it out! Your videos are fabulous and I always get caught off guard by your dry sense of humor, well done ;) Also, some unsolicited feedback: the middle part looks great on you!
thank you so much
my anxiety would not be able to handle taking a shot of me boarding a train in the fear of the door closing behind me
video has impeccable vibes
thank you so much
I would absolutely love to do a trip exactly like this as a kind of vacation from the internet and just spend the majority of my trip reading books and listening to music😊
I really enjoyed this video!
thank youuu
you're such a great artist, , this is art, your editing skills are amazing ,it was so fun to watch, made me want to visit Japan even more
this video is truly a masterpiece, the message, the editing... everything about it
thank you so much
Traveling alone while doing all that camera movements must be tedious. Props to you!
✅ Editing
✅ Cinematography
Watching this made me miss traveling alone too. Also did a solo travel from Osaka to Kyoto before, it was the best feeling ever. Also I travelled to Hong Kong & Macau for week and my last solo travel abroad was Taiwan back in 2018. Can't wait to do it again soon.
just gotta love filming ahaha
I gotta say your cinematic shots are improving and are very smooth good job man
much appreciated it
Thank you for this vid Keo. It really is helping motivate me to get out of my Nagoya comfort zone next time I have some spare yen and time. I needed a reminder that there is a big difference between being alone, and being lonely.
much love
This guy, Keo, never seizes to amaze me again & again with his improvements in editing. There’s a significant quality increase in every video.
& dude is a Hk hometown boy!
Feels illegal to watch this for free.
The cinematography and editing magic makes this soo mesmerizing
Wow! That is so brave of you to travel alone in japan! I've heard some scary stories about japan and how it's not a safe place to be in alone. Jokes aside, I'm glad you are safe and okay!
thank you so much ahaha
The transition at 3:02 made me sub instantly
cheers ahaha
1:11 straight out of miyazaki movie
so cool
When switching to homeschooling back in high school; being alone helped me a lot more with being comfortable in my own skin compared to public school. I was able to concentrate more, learn more on my own, and overall focus on myself compared to worrying on what other's thought of me. Wasn't treating myself well at all until I gotten alone time and learned to treat myself better; it was something I really needed for a while as I never gotten my own space after first grade. It feels way more freeing with having time to yourself, but good to still hang out with any folk's time to time or chat to someone.
definitely still fun to hangout with friends every now and then!
I’m glad i clicked on this video. Your attention to detail, editing, the flow from the video and your soothing personality make for a great watching experience! Keep it up!
I appreciate that!
Travelling alone is a different vibe. It makes me happy.
Hollywood could learn a thing or four from this guy's presentation. Stellar.
Great dynamic too. Love many quotes stated within the video.
thank you so much!
As young as you are and not afraid to traveling alone and able to do it without worrying financially. You are so lucky.
very grateful that I got the opportunity to do so
Going to Japan in October of this year. I have been to other countries before but Japan will be my first country travelling alone. This gives me a big stupid smile across my face and hope I'll be able to make my stay a memorable one.
all the best to you!
im traveling to Tokyo in april alone for two weeks and I can't wait it will be so amazing
gotta do it!
I wasn't feeling great for the past several days and been looking into stuff about solitude/loneliness and this vlog was an excellent and chill pov on it, I really appreciate you taking the time to make this, you have great talent
thanks for leaving such a beautiful comment too!
Two words and you already got me, *alone* and *japan*
much love ahaha
"Indeed, there exists a profound distinction between solitude and loneliness, a concept often overlooked by many. This statement resonates deeply, encapsulating the essence of a fundamental human experience. Your video elegantly captures this nuanced sentiment, offering a poignant reflection on the beauty and richness found within both states. Bravo on crafting such an exceptional piece of content.
thank you for the comment too haha
Wow such a well put together video. It inspires me to do a solo trip even though i have always been afraid to go out to venture alone
You should!
This train is definitely on my bucket list. I just love travelling by train. Either alone or with someone, it's just a romantic way to travel. I know what you mean about travelling alone. Sometimes you just need some 'me' time away from everyone. The beauty of travelling alone is that you get to go at your own speed. You're not waiting for anyone. There's nobody waiting for you. You get to do what you want, see what you want and at your own pace. I think everyone should try a solo trip at least once. Beautiful video, Keo. I really enjoyed it 🙂
gotta do it someday
The quality of your content is amazing!
thank youuu
I've been solo traveling for over 10 years and it can wear you down after a while. There's a big benefit having a companion around.
it was my first time ahaha so maybe that's why I was enjoying it
I am impressed for the safety and security of your country. Also, the views are beautiful and the video is awesome. Thank you for sharing.❤❤💋
much love as always!
I too would like to make a trip completely alone and thinking about various problems, commitments, etc. It's beautiful how the environment can trigger such strong emotions in you even in a beautiful video like yours
thank you so much
“The lights are so defused, it looks like a dream”…also your morning voice 😍
lmao my morning voice is a vibe
I started traveling alone 6 or 7 months ago, I live in Milan so I started with easy things like going to Paris, Prague, Helsinki. Yesterday, I booked my first flight ever to Tokyo for this December, it’s my dream since a lot, I’m a film photographer and its always been my dream to go there and documenting different things. I’ll still alone, but I’m so excited to confirm to myself that we have no limits if we run to reach our biggest dreams.
Thanks for ur video, perfect timing for my story hahah🫂💪🏼❤️
all the best on your trips too!
I swear if I would do that I’ll be sooo happy just imagine the scenario it’s night your on that train either listening to Musik or readin a book it’s dark and it’s raining inside you covered in your warm blanken with a candle on and drinking tea
I know lmao
bro it's gorgeous, is smart, talented, has the best transition and one of the best videos I ever saw. I wish everyone was youtubing like you
I am 4 minutes into this video and already very impressed with the editing, scene changes, audio. The topic is just a bonus
thank you so much!
Did the group travel thing in college plenty of time and it fell apart nearly every single time. Usually because one person wanted to be in charge no matter what, several others just wanted to be intoxicated constantly. Traveling solo you're on your own schedule, which is nice.
very nice actually
Genuinely I haven't watched a full video from start to finish without skipping through it today until this one.
