love this what really makes me sad is that buffy was there constantly there for everyone making sure their okay saving their lives but by doing that it was killing her on the inside and near the end they all betrayed her and i think that must of hurt the most

I got upset when I first watched it too but now that I’m older I understand this is how life usually goes and real heroes come to be; people who keep on being decent, kind, and fighting for what’s right even when their world is turned upside down and the people they love the most betray them.. 💗
This legit made me bawl. I love Buffy so much. She's flawed. She makes mistakes. She's constantly doing the wrong thing. She's emotional. She has an extremely bad temper. She's made her share of knee jerk reactions. But at the end of the day ... she's selfless enough to die for people she doesn't even know.
I really hated it when the Scooby gang talked down to Buffy if it wasn’t for her all of them would of lost their lives in more ways then one granted they sometimes helped with the looking things up but none of them ever had the whole world on their shoulders like she did on an epic scale. Great vid luv it was spliced together very well and very moving

Thanks for making this video, I love it! I just recently rewatched BtVS and I just wanna say that I still hate her "friends/sister" for kicking her out. What Anya said about Buffy just being lucky is bullshit. Buffy wasn't the chosen one for nothing. She got skills and determination and will that none of them could ever imagine. They could have talked to her earlier just like real friends and family do, but instead they tell her it's okay and then they all ganged up on her. Sure she made mistakes, she fucked up but so did Faith when she led the Potentials in the cave. But did they blame her? NO. It was Buffy who always gets the blame. In the end, it was Spike who stood up for her. Sorry for ranting.
oh this lowkey made me cry dalkjfskdl. you put this together so well it's such a wonderful tribute to her. it's kind of crazy how much a relate to buffy this just really got me good on this day.

Like mostly following buffy’s ptsd and depressive symptoms like in season 3 when she ran away or when she died. This is my all time favorite edit btw
It was forced plot. Not the first time they ambushed her (3x02 - many distorted words were said then). She got her strength and speed on credit. A loan that she repaid years earlier by dying twice.
