    • Fructose is a special kind of sugar that has to be processed by your liver first in order to be used by the rest of your body. When eating too much fructose, your liver is too busy and stores the other things coming in itself and gets fat, that's how you get a fatty liver that leads to diabete. So drink your smoothies, eat your 10 apples a day, and enjoy your diabete 👍 (tell me about it in a decade or two)
    • Whey protein has been caught to have plenty of heavy metals above the limit set by health organisations. That's the reason why people avoid processed food: because you don't know what you eat. Same issue with natural food but most likely less risks overall.
    • Blood sugar, as soon as it raises above 7mmol, can start damaging your blood vessels. In the long run, the more you stay under 7, the better you are. It's not just about making it to 80/90, it's also about longevity and try making it beyond 90 and in a better health in your last part of life. I have used blood glucose monitors and you can get above 7mmol for 30mn-1h sometimes, depending on your meal and physical activity. Nothing like diabete which are above 8 for 2+h but it's always better to limit blood spikes as much as possible to preserve your blood vessels as long as possible.
    • Finally, for someone advocating for science and cautious statements, I find him very confident and assertive. I do distrust him, and so should you.
