Remember kids, Polnareff was *THIS CLOSE* to killing Dio with that head stab. Such a badass.
Diavolo even admits that Polnareff was dangerously close to a critical hit in their second encounter.
And he was this close to polnareff land

In the OVA of that scene, Polnareff stirke to give Jotaro enough time to restarted his heart and have Star Plantium followed with a skull crushed
The thing about Chariot Requiem, is that stands represent the innermost desires and beliefs of their user. Chariot Requiem swaps the souls, or places, of its targets. Polnareff watched Avdol and Iggy die in front of him, and like Jotaro, has PTSD. His earnest desire, was to have been the one who died instead of his friends, and Chariot Requiem mirrored this belief through its ability.

What about it's ability to bring beings from other dimensions into theirs? The weird monstrosity thingies? I mean, it's ability to reflect any attack back on the enemy stand user makes sense since Polnareff wanted to keep the arrow safe, but idk about the extradimensional beings.
Thing is since it was an imperfect requiem, it warped that desire. If a stand has it's eyes open and you can see it's full face, it's achieved it's most perfect state. Thing is it's requiem was the opposite of GER, it was just a mass of liquid silver. It didn't help that it was seperated from it's user.
What is Ptsd mean?
Polnareff will forever be my favorite, badass character in JoJo. His character development from being a silly french goofball in part 3 to a determined, sage man in part 5 was beautiful
And from a sage to a turtle.
kinda wished they did more with him tho. and it seems kinda lame that Giorno was able to heal his "dead body" and "slide back into it" but he couldn't do that with Polnareff's and heal his injuries while he was at it.
Even within part 3. Him losing Avdol and Iggy fighting Vanilla Ice changed him from a tough but silly member of the group to a full fledged, battle hardened, undisputed Stardust Crusader.

He had an entire character development through Stardust Crusaders, making him more of the main character than Jottaro himself. He continued his mission and although lost his physical strength, he reached his mental peak in Golden Wind. He died with his friends in his mind, and also got one of the strongest stands in the entire Jojo universe. And to top everything said before, he almost defeated both Dio and Diavolo, being aknowledged by Dio and Diavolo themselves! This guy right here is the best character that Araki created in the first six parts of the Jojo universe!

Oy. Get your head out Polnareffland. He didn’t even come to even fatally injuring either of them. They dodged his rapier just in the nick of time. As awesome as he is, his actions merely set the stage for the MCs.

Also cannot wait for Diego Brando theme, the concept is just too cool, please also do DIO theme, but it's Over Heaven Version dark rebirth x DIO's world and bits of from you 2000 years ago, 0Sk and maybe Attack on Titan TFSv as well as maybe footsteps of Doom. (But mainly the first 2 AOT songs mix with Dio theme would be epic)
When Stone Ocean airs pls also do a Pucci theme but it's Made in heaven version mixed with either Footsteps of Doom or Ashes on the Fire or both

I was really hoping for you to lie to us and make silver twist but epic instead
I really feel like some people who have heard of Polnareff’s Part 3 Theme: Silver Twist, have yet to realize he also has a Part 5 Theme: Cavaliere. Either way, I’ve been hoping for Polnareff’s REAL Theme, Cavaliere, to finally receive some well-deserved attention and an Epic Version of it. Not to mention that Polnareff’s Part 5 Theme have callbacks to Kakyoin’s Theme, specifically Kakyoin’s Violin Leitmotif, almost serves as a reference that it has influenced his Part 5 theme considering he kept borrowing Kakyoin’s Theme in Part 3.
Well Polnareff does have an actual Part 3 battle theme named "Ken". Not many people know of it because it showed up in the 2nd half of Part 3 and was played once or twice. But I'm so glad they gave Ken an orchestrated remix with Cavaliere.
@@machmach6981 yeah, i forgot that Ken was considered to be Polnareff’s Theme as well since I didn’t hear it as much as Silver Twist, but the fact that it was in Part 3 and we got to hear it in Part 5 as a Callback in Cavaliere was Brilliant. They knew what they were doing and they were kind enough to share his fighting theme in part 3 with his Part 5 Theme and turning Ken into Cavaliere with more Orchestral.
Cavaliere also shares a some motifs from "Sword Attack" AKA Anubis theme
Also im certain that Cavaliere is one of the most known Part 5 themes

Literally every single person knows about Cavaliere, far fewer actually know that Silver Twist was his official part 3 theme and fewer still remember Ken.
But I will bet money on the fact that anyone who knows Silver Twist also is aware of Cavaliere. Especially when we consider how much more popular Part 5 is in comparison to Part 3.
Fun Fact: There’s actually a Part 3 version of his Part 5 theme. It’s called Kengeki, and to my knowledge, it’s used in the Anubis fight.
It can also be called Ken/Knight, and it actually wasnt used in the Anubis fight, rather in Alessi´s

The reality: The theme that turned Polnareff into a turtle.
For those who are wondering why this Epic Version of Polnareff’s Theme still almost sounds close to the original, is because Polnareff’s Part 5 Theme: Cavaliere, is already *EPIC.* Saying Polnareff Theme or Cavaliere But Epic, is like saying Jonathan but he’s a Gentleman.

Can we all just take a moment to appreciate and respect how Chariot Requiem’s *Walking Theme* was included in the beginning and then transitions to Polnareff’s Actual Theme.... It just feels like that Chariot Requiem’s Theme expresses an even more *MENACING* Vibe than Diavolo’s or DIO’s Theme and I quickly fall in love with it every time I get to hear Chariot Requiem’s theme and I just realized how under-appreciated it is since not many people are talking about it, so it’s really nice how Samuel included it in the beginning, it definitely shows how he cares about giving other themes some well-deserved attention.

@@melonator3371 its literally a shadow of ones soul, it cant be taken out by damaging it, it uses your own stand against you if you try to hurt it and activating once was enough to put everyone in the whole city of rome to sleep

Polnareff is a character that just grows on you over time. I didn’t like him at first, felt that he took a lot of screen time from the other characters. But you just can’t help but appreciate his character development. He endures a lot of hardship and heartbreaks, losing his beloved sister, watching his friends die before his eyes and being crippled, but he just keep moving and continue to fight evil because he wants to keep hope alive.

It was a wonderful feeling seeing polnareff popping up in my notifications. His theme is one of the only ones that actually gives me chills, due to him never backing away from a fight, even with all hope lost. The theme gave me those same chills, excellent job
Also, a requiems abilities (when first made) are dependant on whats needed in the moment to win, so the only reason SCRs power is body swapping is because it was the only way to save Polnareff (and to a lesser extent, hinder Diavolo from reaching the arrow).
If Polnareff wasnt dying when SCR was activated, its possible it may have had a different power entirely, especially since Polnareff apparently briefly activated SCR before Rome and well, he didnt get bodyswapped now did he?

Jean-Pierre Polnareff is one of the best and most underrated supporting characters in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, he was close to killing Dio, and it was thanks to him that Giorno and his team discovered the existence of Diavolo and his stand. And he even tried to stop Diavolo, failed but continued forward. I'm glad you made a video dedicated to this character, Samuel Kim. Thank you, seriously.
