- Here is a chance to see an ultra rare cockpit Namco STARBLADE Arcade Video Game. So few exist today that work. Todd and Rob Tuckey show you inside and out and also some game play. Also, Jonathan and Tom take the machine apart for transportation and you can see how it all fits together!
Todd shares a stupid Battery Remote older someone did to a Williams LUCKY SEVEN Pinball. Then see updates on Gottlieb Shaq Attaq and Bally SCARED STIFF Pinball Machines, and look at this amazing home use only Data East PLAYBOY 35th ANNIVERSARY Pinball! We sold it new back in 1989 to private homeowner. Now it heads to its second home. Also, Williams JUNGLE LORD is shown with a Todd's Tips on the driver boards. Wallace give Todd a little backtalk too! Remember the three Williams DEMOLITION MAN Pinball Machines we had? Two were sold for parts and we restored the last one and out it goes! A Namco PACMAN ARCADE PARTY that sadly was in a foot of water gets converted...boards too rusty! And finally, progress on that Stern FAMILY GUY Pinball!

Starblade was freaking crazy, loud shaky, busy, violent, lots of shooting, absolutely loved it
And I am willing to guess that if Nintendo came out with a star Fox arcade game.
It would probably be just like this one.
One of my favorite arcade games. Love the cinematic feel of it!
Yes...it seems to be ahead of its time!
You can play this game in Tekken 5
Great video. I have a Starblade. I think that is the correct mirror. It looks exactly like mine (black plastic). My seat shaker works but does not shake on power up like this one did. I suspect it's not supposed to do that.
Thanks for commenting
This was one of the most immersive arcade cabinets ever created. If I recall, there would usually be a curtain shrouded around the machine which completely blacked-out the interior and really made you feel like you were in space. The shaking and sound were all top-notch. It unfortunately sat unoccupied in our local arcade since that particular era was dominated by SF2 / MK.
I blew soooo many quarters on this thing when I was a kid...
The level of immersion was so intense.
I recall playing this in an enclosed sit down cabinet. Surround sound, large seat, it was immersive as hell. Though i was young so my memory may be fuzzy.
I used to play this StarBlade cabinet all the time at the "MagicLand" arcade in Winnipeg back in the early 90s.
“The cold never bothered me anyway”
I squeeze in another line in video #1537 later this week
I still like her first song off Beowulf , it was 50 today!! in December araghhhhh windows shouldn't be open in December
Really nice Jungle Lord for someone. My first pin just this spring. I have been experimenting with different lighting and appreciate seeing what you did with that one. Lighting the out hole is a must to improve the general lighting on this and many others. Thanks
Glad it helped give you some ideas!
Wow! I never was into arcade games but this Namco STARBLADE game looks, sounds and navigates like you are in a real fighter! Seen the look on your brothers face along with comments he made and I must agree!
just like in The Last Starfighter!
Would like to see Namco's "Solvalou" someday.
Never saw one!
I have one; will do a video once I get it working properly...
Played the hell out of this when it came out. They made this in two different cabinet designs. The first is the one in this video and another one that was much larger and encapsulated the player. The effect with that reflected monitor was amazing too.
Yeah, the latter one is a sort 360 degrees unit, which was also used for Galaxian 3 : Project Dragoon.
2:11 had me rolling!
Awesome game! I am curious to what museum this game went too?
I am not sure... It upstate New York
Are you familiar with Namco's Galaxian 3 ? It is the world's largest video game cabinet.
yes...saw one...we could have gotten one very cheap but it was just too big
@@tntamusements It even bigger than my bedroom. You should see the 16 and 28 person cabinet in japan.
incredible your video this arcade cabinet is ultra rare
I had the chance to play it once in 1993 in an arcade room at a funfair in the south of France at Luna Parc
Cool, I thought it was a laserdisc also until you showed us the boardset!
yes...many people did too!
Pretty neat seeing how a StarBlade works. :D 26:14 "Hi I'm Mr. Cable, I've come to be on the show with Todd, howdy ho!". ^_^
What an astounding, beautiful game.
Yes it is!
pretty sure this machine would have had a rear speaker set up for full surround sound. I remeber the one I used to play having speakers behind my head
I used to play it every chance I got ,, very immersive experience game for its time
One of my fave arcade games can't believe its that old of a game !
yes...it dates back quite a bit...25 years old now
hello thank you for the show, at 21:02 i seen a bally type machine or what looked like one? do you work on them or sell them?
that is a shuffle bowler from 1951...its not on its legs...its for sale for $300
@@tntamusements ok and thank you very much, have you done a review on it or machine's like it?
I felt rumble seats before but holy crap!
I think that one being powered by a jackhammer.
I’ve played one of these Starblades before and the vibration is as intense as it looks. The whole experience is pretty amazing. 🛸
it is intense!
yes it is!
Todd... that black plastic mirrors what the game is supposed to have that is original! I have a Starblade missing the black plastic mirror!!!!!
Ahhhh....This was the only Starblade I ever came across.
Wonderful Starblade cabinet. Neat game.
Yes!
Very cool video. Thanks for posting and have a nice day too.
Thanks!
I need to find your location.
one key item operators of this game found out in a hurry is beware of any location where the sun rays can fall on the mirror,, under the right set of conditions it can set the game on fire ..
I didn't know that!
Sorry Todd about the spelling. Good 'ol AGENT orange
Aha!! the new video with you is #1538...it should be up tomorrow...watch for it
Moldy-cade...on the flood damaged cabinet ....yuck yuck....
that poor game!
Another Chuck E Cheese great when There were arcades in Michigan... STARBLADE!!!!...
Yes...I guess it was there at those arcades....it was so big it had to be in large locations
@@tntamusements They used to trade it back and forth... With in a quarter mile... Chuck E Cheeses and Showbiz Pizza Time Theater... I wonder how much the keyboard playing gorrilla from Showbiz would be worth theses days especially if it still worked...
They didn't wrap or blanket starblade at all?
not that I remembered
Another awesome video TNT! New to this channel. I've subscribed but finally came out of my arcade cabinet to post comments.
Ohh no the STICKER....IT WILL NEVER COME OFF....
PERMANENT! :-)
Yodd, do you have a vi. on the star wars NAMCO?
we do not, Brian
This game was so ahead of its time.
It was!
Here the Game Play: ruclips.net/video/q75GHa_eYN0/видео.html
thanks!
No pout a flat screen instead of a mirror
The new owner will decide I guess
Todd is still giving everybody the middle finger ! Frank would have noticed and then give us all the finger too .(One of the Twins was at helm of the video camera)..Frank! Fingers for everyone for the Holidays!
I don't think he'll ever learn. LOL
Just boys!
Oh I didn't send that much although I did send 2 cans. They shouldn't be dead in cans right :) Someday maybe I'll send that much. Kudos to whoever did. Usually mine are straight from amazon because the shipping is cheaper.. (free) as I'm a Prime member, and Death Wish coffee is apparently too strong for certain people so I've stopped that bit for now. That certainly is a sh** load of coffee.. :O
well that deleted well. It Starblade reminds me of the T2 game, just don't watch any of the Terminators after it. James has a major screw loose thinking T6 was wise. No spoilers but you can look it up. I think while interestingly the movie came out at the same time as this game, the game in the movie moves and doesn't shake. But it's the same style of cabinet (hmmm think T4 was promising. T5 was on LSD. smh) and T6 did um well T5 was 6.4 and James thought okay let me handle this. and he (T6) got to 6.5 (well that went well .... not)
I miss Williams. Was a punchline in our family as it was mom's Maiden last name Know plenty of Williams.. And one cousin who hasn't married yet so she still has it. Too many people use people. Not fun. Great video today
well, they have a Slot Machine division that is still going strong!
@@tntamusements I did notice they have COLD death wish coffee can drinks. Might get a couple of these bad boys for those who need a perk. smile.amazon.com/Death-Wish-Coffee-Strongest-Organic/dp/B07SKCCZ1V Although Taurine is safer. But getting sleepy sure 300 mg why not O_O
great vid!! can't wait for Family Guy- please show the game play as I have never seen one in real life and love Family Guy TV show. Keep up the amazing work TNT!
We do some game play...its been delivered but it is part of a longer video about the stadium lighting...so it will be awhile before coming out
The best video i ever seen.
Thank you!!
Everyone sends you coffee....when was the last time you actually had to buy some Todd? ^_^
We are forced to buy a case from out spring water people to keep the coffee maker
What's with the USB charging cable in the corner of the video?
its from the camera
Man i just bought a williams lockdown bar for more than that.
We have plenty more!
No screws on the top of that board in Jungle Lord let's the heat dissipate better.
yes...leave them off!
Absolutely one of my favorite games!
:-)
Merry Christmas to everyone in case I forget.
Thank you Lyle!
Splendid looking game that Starblade. Never even heard of it before. :) Might be a nice idea to install a switch to disable the shake effect so it doesn't go nuts on power up?
Yes...new owners could probably do that...its possible there is a relay inside thats supposed to click to keep it off until it pwoers up...not sure
@@tntamusements Yea I think mine only shakes for a couple seconds on power up..
There were arcades at two malls West of Bethel, Ohio and I think they didn't have Starblade. This was years ago.
i would figure it would have been in every Namco arcade
If I remember these were general arcades with cranes and video games.
GTFO
of where?
Little snow and here Todd goes with the song.. :)
not enough snow...that sequence was filmed a couple years ago
@@tntamusements Welcome to come to CT we got a good few inches..
Yes Todd, Put me down for the Star Wars unit.
are you the Brian with the coffee?
I did have some coffee sent to you.
@@tntamusements Just to clarify . I Sent the 4 Kona from Amazon followed by 2 others just in case you didn't like the Kona.
I hope this video is at least 45 minutes long. 45-60 mins are perfect for TNT video cinematic movies. And the best part of it is that they film it IN COLOR @ 60fps 1080p.
The running time is 37 minutes in this video
