I've never made a junk journal, but a journal to me means something you write in. I'd like to make one for my daughter who used to write in a (store bought) journal, but hasn't for some time. I think she needs to do it again. I'll try to adapt some of your ideas to make her one that she has lots of room to write, but still be something she recognizes as art from me. You do have some great ideas and I love to watch your videos.

I really enjoy watching you make that journal it inspires me so much I would like to start using a more eclectic mix of papers I think I get stuck in a rut sometimes and don't use a variety of papers just tea dyed you know the usual stuff so watching you helps me.

I like coptic stitching for lying flat but you get a large spine and it's more time consuming. Oh I'm decorating a chunky journal so my desk is a complete tip🙈 and using my ironing board as another surface 😄. But it's ironing day so I'll need to tidy a little. My room looks like you’re Joie! No fancy holders, using cookie holders from inside their boxes for ephemera, boxes covered in scraps and labeled with brown coffee filters, and so much under my desk I can’t even. I love my sanctuary even though my big kitty kat likes to lay on my desk to eat part of everything. Got to work on that 😅
So, in spite of life being a little crazy right now, i I'm planning on doing JJJ. I need to get a journal together today. Today? I'm torn between doing a Joie journal and just doing pages that I bind when finished with a Cinch binder. Better get cracking. Whichever I decide on, I'm definately doing your folding method.
Thank you for the inspiration to use these types of pages in this way! I have a problem choosing signature pages. I also have a problem ripping into some of my special books and so I keep buying the same ones in the hopes that a spare or two will get me past the misplaced anguish…but instead it’s created a hoarder! 😬😂
As usual, I learned a ton from this video--and had to watch it a couple of times! Thank you for sharing your knowledge and love of journaling so generously. Could you share how you journal in them? I love making journals, but struggle as to how to actually use them.
My craft and sewing area is in the basement. I do have windows! It looks chaotic but it IS organized. I do not have tidy ikea storage units but leftover things from raising my children. It works. Everything I do is messy, just the way it is!

I spotted your beautiful music papers first, it’s hard to get hold of them where I live, we have plenty of charity shops but they are very pricey. I will have to have another rummage when I get out next. I love your system, my favourite are the book pages, probable more so than digitals - a very interesting video. Thank you xx

No fancy holders, using cookie holders from inside their boxes for ephemera, boxes covered in scraps and labeled with brown coffee filters, and so much under my desk I can’t even. I love my sanctuary even though my big kitty kat likes to lay on my desk to eat part of everything. Got to work on that 😅

I'm planning on doing JJJ. I need to get a journal together today. Today? I'm torn between doing a Joie journal and just doing pages that I bind when finished with a Cinch binder. Better get cracking. Whichever I decide on, I'm definately doing your folding method.
Thank you for the inspiration to use these types of pages in this way! I have a problem choosing signature pages. I also have a problem ripping into some of my special books and so I keep buying the same ones in the hopes that a spare or two will get me past the misplaced anguish…but instead it’s created a hoarder! 😬😂

My craft and sewing area is in the basement. I do have windows! It looks chaotic but it IS organized. I do not have tidy ikea storage units but leftover things from raising my children. It works. Everything I do is messy, just the way it is!
