Susan this is a very comprehensive excellent source for ideas on what to look for even in the books! I even love the fact that you give us the authors and different information about what's in them. I spend a lot of time book stores at thrift shops going through books because I don't have any idea. Thank you so much for your knowledge 💚💙💜❣️📚
Thank you Sue, and for the copyright warning. I love this series, going to watch each one and make notes. I love flower books. Great book collection! My parents had many of those nature guides. I still have some. :)
Hi Susan. I've just discovered your channel. *Swoon* I've enjoyed browsing your collection. Thank you for sharing. Another place where you may find treasured vintage books....your local library! Mine has a table of books for sale...reasonably priced.
Thank you so much for sharing and it's wonderful beyond words to see the inside of some of these. What do they say, never judge a book by it's cover ! LOL
Hi Susan, I just discovered you on here this minute...so glad that I did!! I loved this tute, very helpful. Thank you so vey much. I already have one or two of these and you have a delicious selection!! Now, I can't wait to watch more of what you have to offer. Thanks Susan.
Susan, This is such a wonderful idea for a series. I have a few of the books you showcased, but was excited to see so many more. Thank you! Looking forward to watching the rest of your series.
Hi Susan!! Great video!!! I have some of these books but forgot I had them??!!? LOL Thanks for the reminder and the other books I wrote down for the future.
Great video. I’ve thought about doing something like this before but seemed like a lot of work lol. Really beautiful collection. Look forward to more. TFS
You have a great collection of flower books. I have that Floregium book, bought it a year ago and can't get to start to use it as it is so beautiful. Flowerer day to you Susan!
Or,,,1924 now I believe..many are considered to be " In The Public Domain" but do your research.....Also,,Cover Publications have awesome clip art in B&W images of lots of subjects. They allow you to use so many at a time in items to sell..It gives info about that in their books. I hesitate to use books that are RARE or Hard to Find, and with checking are often worth more money intact....if old enough may be able to copy images from.... These are some BEAUTIFUL books Susan and I can't bring myself to tear them apart! Plus they are expensive! Sometimes you luck out and can buy for under 10-+$..plus shipping. I don't own a printer,( yup, that sucks) inks too expensive... Thriftbooks is a good online source, and BetterWorldBooks...or Goodwill...hope this helps a little?🤗
Just starting your Book Series. What a treat to look at your books. They are so very beautiful. You have a lovely collection. Thank you for sharing. I always look for books like these at yard sales and such and get so excited to find them. Question for you. I understand about the copyright rules you talk about but when you say you can tear them out of a book or fussy cut to put in journals...... is that limited to personal journals or journals that you want to sell?
@@SusanTaylorBrown That's great info. I've been wondering that for quite some time now. I was aware of the copying/scanning. Thanks so much!!! Just responded to your invite on FB.
That's not what copyright means, you can copy pages from any book, you just can't sell them for profit.
tysm for this. truly appreciate it
Happy to help!

So you cant copy and sell, but can you sell journals containing images cut from the physical copy?
Loved this video. Thank you so much for sharing. 🌺
Awesome books😊 I've seen many people cut up there own copy of a book and make embellishments and sell them, is that ok? Just wondering ☺
@@SusanTaylorBrown if you bought the book, cut it up and use it for embellishments, is it ok to sell?
