Love your journey… my wife and I just bought our first property as a house hack. We live in NY. And our town has just banned short-term Airbnb rentals, just as we got super-host status 😢 . We got hit with a fine and we’re told to seize our short term rental operations. Long term tenants only… I feel that New York (Long Island & NYC at least) is definitely going way too far. I agree with regulating the short-term rental space, but NY is trying to ban it altogether smh 😔

Sorry to hear that. I bought 2 years ago in Nassau County. New York is not landlord friendly. So I totally agree with you.
